There is no evidence Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons. It has never been Iran's goal.
We are pursuing an indiginous enrichment program, which is a lot different than pursuing weapons.
Stop being so easily fooled. Iran is the most inspected country in the history of the IAEA, and never has any proof been put on the table that Iran is weaponizing its program. In fact, most intelligence agencies (even Western ones) have unanimously said that Iran has not even made the decision to weaponize.
However, having a nuclear weapons capability carries with it advantages.

For your information the sanctions against Iran started way before it had 1 single centrifuge.
For the record I didnt say sanctions are favorable. I said the argument (the the question of sovereignty) works in my favor here.

There was a time when US said Iran is not allowed to have one single centrifuge, at which point Iran showed them the finger and built 20.000 of them.
The negotiations today are no longer about whether or not Iran is going to have an enrichment program (fait a compli) but the scope of it. Meaning US has retratcted from its earlier demand.
This is sovereignty. To stand up for your national rights, independent of outside pressure.

F-35B, I suppose?

hmm US will only sell degraded version of their naval fighter, Indian navy is looking for F-35 for its 2nd heavy indigenous carrier which will probably be commissioned by early 20s.

Do Americans know how much of their aid to Israel has made it the most ''powerful'' military in the Middle East. That's hardly an achievement. There is not a single nation near Israel that has a professional Armed forces or a major world power. Beating few Arabs nations with turmoil and with their old machinery is hardly anything to gloat about. If Pakistan was close to Israel then it would have been a totally different ball game. :D
