These numbers are false. Besides the major reason for higher number of killed civilians is simple: combat was on Lebanese territory.

If Hezbollah was shelling civilian homes non-stop for 33 days, much much more than 44 would be killed. By comparison, terrorists in Aleppo killed 30 people in 2 days and wounded 60 in past 2 days by shelling.

Thats because Israel invested billions in civil defense. Built shelters and alert system. Assad on the other hand invested ZERO in civil defense. Ditto Hezbollah.

I'll tell you more: while in 2006 war Hezbollah fired 4000 rockets and killed 44 civilians.
In 2014 war Hamas fired 3000 rockets and killed only 6 civilians. All of them in areas not protected by Iron Dome.

Your example actually shows, how deadly are unguided rockets fired at towns when there is no civil defense like in Israel.

give us a break! Hizbollah is the only one that replied to Israel in kind, and I doubt seriously that Israel plans to tangle with them. The Israeli General comment was for internal consumption. Hizbollah showed to the world that Israelis are not the super soldiers that the West made them to be..

That's one sane voice from the shia camp. Asad has seriously jeopardize the security of Hezbollah and other Iranian allies in the region. Hezbollah is extremely vulnerable to an assrahelli blitzkrieg right now because it has to face several hostile parties. I think soon the assrahellis are going to try to exploit this.

Nonsense those people died back at cities more than 100km from battlefield and the war was at the border you could not even advance 20km and reach litany river.

Virtually all killed were in South Lebanon up to Litani, areas where was ground combat and where from Hezbies launched thousands of their terrorist rockets and IDF warned to evacuate. Behind Litani casualties were extremely minor.

simple, Hizbollah has always replied to Israel a each attack. Israel kills one of hizbollah element , Hizbollah kills one Israeli element..very simple rule...
