Palmyra is far away from Israel notclose, the sam was fired from their, if it hit IDF Jet was suppose to fall in Jordan or Syria.. IDF jets were on after burner while they're getting back.. Sysria did fire the SAMS there's no denying it.... but it never shot down the Jets...

what's making fuss is after all these years of IDF jets striking inside Syrua this is the first time Assad used his SAMs at IDF maybe in a decade... this is what making the news.

and it takes less than a minute for a SAM to strike a target you know.. S-200 has a range of 300km and they're not close to Israeli border. S-400 is only manned y Russians and they're there only to protect russian interests, Israel doesn't strike Russian target and they don't strike Israeli targets. that's the deal between Russia and Israel. Check the Jordanian sources S-200s wreckage are in northern Jordan which is 20km from Norther Israeli border, while in Israel a wreckage of Arrow-3 fell, its the booster of the missile. Like i said it was a bold move by assad to reply for the raid, now that's what made Israel minister to open his mouth, If IDF jet was shot down Israel would have went ahead with additional strikes on the SAM batteries.. it's not hard for them they've their own version of F-16 just for Electronic warfare
