I don't think Israel is dumb enough to go head on with Iran alone. It would literally mean the death of that nation. I am not sure if anyone has seen Iran's weapon arsenal but they are powerful enough to engulf the entire Mideast single handedly.

Nethanyanhu is a politician it's his job to act like that,I bet in a real war scenario,He will eat his words.
And it will be foolish if Israel attacks first because they don't have many allies in the middle-east. Iran has an edge over Israel but Israel has one of the best air force pilots,However I don't think that will help much.
