Syria can only afford to start a war with Israel if every single terrorist is eradicated. There is still some serious terrorist presence in Idlib and other areas. IDF would bomb back and soften Syrian defence position allowing the terrorists to advance towards Damascus. It is dangerous. Count Syria out for now.. the task is on Hezbollah.

Their is truth to this. The Israels have avoided entering Syrian airspace, and launch standoff missiles instead. That demonstrates they do not have air superiority over the Golan or Damascus.

This is exactly why lobbing rockets at a 1000x more powerful enemy is not a wise decision. I agree with you but some elements of SAA are trained by Iran. We saw the performance of Hezbollah (trained and armed by Iran) against Israel 15 years ago. Now they are in a much much better position.
