i think the word small is applicable to Pakistan also.:D

i know, right?

it's amazing that india was never able to capture or dominate Pakistan, given the vast difference in size.

We are a mere fraction the size of india and yet we have consistently proven that indian will never even be able to dream of land/air superiority over Pakistan.

:pakistan::pakistan:

pakistan GPD $431.2 billion FOR Population of 169,299,500

ISRAEL GPD $350billion FOR Population of 5,750,000 mlion pepole

:azn:

Why did u bring Pakistan in this .. stick to the topic just rem you are a guest here show some respect.:disagree:

this is the standard line that i always hear.

first of all, there were clearly marked United Nations ambulances transporting injured civilians in Southern Lebanon during that war. israel attacked those vehicles (and UN buildings) because they claimed that militants were firing rockets from these locations; there is no truth at all in this statement

we can both agree that targetting any civilian in WAR is plain wrong. Doesnt matter which side it is.

But with that said, how many israeli civilians were killed? How many Palestinian/Lebanese civilians have you killed between just 2004-2009???????

(in combat and non-combat situations?)

p.s. i mentioned earlier, most of the casualties suffered by israel in 2006 were military, not civilian

most of the casualties Lebanon suffered were civilians (approximately 1,000). It is evident that Hezbollah is still fully operational, meaning you didn't even kill 15% of their foot soldiers.

maybe you can re-analyze your statement.

Is it? Have you heard about bangladesh? It was part of pakistan once upon a time.

Yes but it was all the way over there, its not like it was joined with us and that makes it difficult to protect or fight for it. What did not help was Indian in between and Soviet-Indo treaty signed a few years before that.

Have you heard of Kashmir, was fully a part of India, now only more than half of it.

this is the standard line that i always hear.

Do you rally belive in the number that hamass and hizballah saying
When they say it is a civilians most of the time they lie in order to show how match poor they are.:azn:

Sanctions, trade restrictions, lack of cooperation in sectors with western powers and many other reasons have got a lot to do with this.

Clearly Israel has never faced such problems with very powerful nations especially US.

However I have to agree that Israel has made spectacular advancements in Science and Technology. But we too under immense scrutiny and opposition have pulled through from many grave eras.

:pakistan::pakistan:

We don't dream of land/air superiority over pakistan.
It's you who dream that Pakistan's land/air forces are superior to India, where the fact is totally different...

patriotism is good, but sometimes it is needed to look beyond it.:rolleyes:

Is it? Have you heard about bangladesh? It was part of pakistan once upon a time.

Have you heard about Pakistan? It was once part of india (if not spiritually or emotionally, at least physically). Not a shot was fired during the period leading up to our independence :smitten:

on a side note, while i wont deny that india played a role (mostly exporting hindu mukti bahini fanatics/terrorists) --- that wasn't at all a military victory for india.

it was a social/policy failure of Pakistan's leadership; compounded by the fact that media was weak in those days and information was vague and often inaccurate.

Physically, and 'existentially' --- Bangladesh never really was a part of Pakistan.

With that episode behind us, and with ever changing resources & technologies and adaptions to new military tactics, training and thinking --- india to this day lacks the ability to attain superiority of any kind over ''tiny'' Pakistan.

For that, 180 million people are eternally grateful to Pakistan's defenders.
