What's new

ISPR vows to respond to terrorist surge.

But when you blame and shame the Generals of Pakistan army you are actually shaming the ground soldiers who are sacrificing their life's to protect us. So again I say please wait and be patient and watch what army does.

then why don't those generals act in a way to put our faith in them? ok...I admit tht I became critical of Raheel Sharif in dawn leaks issue..but tht is another topic... None of us..EVER doubted his patriotism... Indians hated Raheel Sharif..

What has Gen Bajwa done uptil now, to put our faith in him? can u plzz mention any of his action?..tht we could proudly say..tht yes we have him, we need not worry.... All he has done, after becoming COAS...is to please India.. how is he any different from Nawaz Sharif?

I used to even wonder tht ..does he even realize..how unpopular he is, within the masses? but now I think...tht like Nawaz Sharif/Zardari don't care abt their moral perception in public...even he doesn't

Can you mention, ANY past army chief of Pak, who was soo unpopular with the public, tht too within 3 months of becoming chief? even Gen Kiyani was very popular in his first term.... but there is a reason...Gen Bajwa isn't perceived well by public, due to his pro India actions

2 Afghan civilians killed in Pakistani artillery shelling in Kunar
By Khaama Press - Fri Feb 17 2017, 2:08 pm

At least two civilians were killed in artillery shelling from the other side of Durand Line in eastern Kunar province of Afghanistan.

According to the local security officials, the incident took place late on Thursday night after dozens of artillery shells were fired on Sarkano district.

Provincial police spokesman Faridullah Dehqan said the shelling started at around 10:00 pm local time and continued for several hours.

He said one of the rockets landed on a residential house in Sarkano district, leaving two members of a family dead.

According to Dehqan, a woman and his 15-year-old son were among those killed in the shelling.

The shelling started hours after a deadly explosion ripped through a shrine in Sindh province of Pakistan and shortly after the military of Pakistan closed the routes connecting the two countries along the Durand Line.

The incident at Sehwan city of Sindh took place on Thursday evening as hundreds of people had gathered for a ritual.

According to the Pakistani government officials, at least 70 people, including women and children were killed in the attack.

The officials further added that nearly 150 others were also wounded in the attack and the health condition of the majority of them has been reported as critical.http://www.khaama.com/2-afghan-civilians-killed-in-pakistani-artillery-shelling-in-kunar-02908
Afghan source confirms Pakistani action in Afghanistan

That sort of revenge would be sweet, but what do you suppose happens next?
Uncle Sam won't ever give us the green light to do as we please, as are our necessities when dealing with these low life scum. Afghan government won't stop being complicit, neither will their sponsors, Indians will use this as they have been doing to full advantage. We have ways of applying pressure, and hitting back very hard, but this issue will not be solved so soon or as easily with a few raids, sending a message, through twitter or physical.

To the hell with uncle Sam & anyone waiting for their green light.

You Supported Baloch and Pashtun Sepparatists in 1950s 1960s and 1970s Which Is Why You Got Taliban.

Now You Decided to Let India Use Your Land To Commit Acts Of Terror Against Pakistan. All The More Reason To Itensify Support for Haqqani Network Against The Panjsheris.

You Should Be Ready For What Is Coming After You Afghan Jalebis
Why are all you so upset? It's perfectly okay for pak govt to harbor Taliban but if Afghanistan does the same it's wrong?

Oh the stupidity on this forum!

This terrorism will stop once pak stops breeding taliban in the tribal areas. Pak supported Taliban in 1995, and Afghanistan supported ttp years later.

Who opposed the recognition of Pakistan at UN?
Who disputes the international border of Durand line?
Who funded and armed ideology of Pashtunistan?
The communist regime of Kabul was brutally persecuting their own Pashtun tribes due to which Taliban movement was born.
Inviting foreign power to annex the country..this was the new low..!

Waiting for a comprehensive military/paramilitary operation in Punjab to begin.

I think we are going too far when we say Gen. Bajwa is pro India. He wouldn't have been promoted beyond brigadier had there been any iota of idea about his inclination towards India.

Our strategic objectives will remain the same, strategies may change to deal with the menace of terrorism.

How you want to deal with the situation will end up in all out war on our both sides, east and west. Pakistan is unfortunately surrounded by many threats and going all out against everyone is not an option. We will only hurt ourselves, diplomatically, economically and militarily.

What we are experiencing is 1% of of the damages we have inflicted on our enemies. Some of them are listed below:

1 - Afghan Taliban, who are the real heirs of Afghanistan and represent the majority, and are emotionally on our side are winning the war, although India tried her best to get everyone on board through huge investments. Indian strategic interests have been hurt even after 15 years of continuous efforts.

2 - Gwadar port, despite all the attempts of our enemies against it, has become operational. This has killed the port Indians built in Iran. Huge investment lost.

3 - We have been successful in getting Russia and China realize that the real people who can help us and them in utilizing CPEC benefits are Afghan Talibs. We have also been successful in keeping India, Afghans and Americans out.

4 - Internally, we have been successful in cleaning up decades old mess created by our enemies in Baluchistan and FATA.

5 - We have been successful in reigniting Kashmiri movement, which is now being fast converted into armed struggle. India is losing his soldiers on a daily basis.

No one is saying that we have not incurred losses. We are still paying for the peace and will probably continue to do so for many more years. It doesn't mean that last seven days are reflective of our failures OR the leadership is Pro India.

Ask Indian strategists how are they feeling on our recent successes in Baluchistan (CPEC included), Afghanistan and Kashmir etc.

A few bomb blasts can't take our successes back from us.. We will respond back, and respond in manner that will shock them.. You may hear our friends (when I say friends, it means our proxies, including (Edit: Afghan Talibs) and Kashmiri freedom fighters who have recently been armed) taking out targets on our behalf in the very near future. You will continue to hear about out "strategic" successes.

No need to worry.. Deen ke kamzor honay ki nishani yeh bhi hai ke musalmaan hikmat se aari hojaein aur jahan koi needle chubhoey, hum danda le ke uss ke sar par marna shuru kardain.. hikmat ka taqaza hai ke koi needle chubhey tou usay kahain hamain buhat maza aaya, 2 baar aur chubhao, aur uss ke ghar main khatmal le ja kar chhor diey jaein..

That said, I am too emotional since yesterday. I also want some hits as soon as possible, not direct, but indirect.. some explosions across eastern and western borders. If it doesn't happen then of course I will question whether we have lost our strategic assets or do not have courage to carryout such ops..

i beg to differ Afghan talibans and Kashmiri Fighters are no more Pakistani proxies and recent incident are evident for the same
