Islamophobia in India

.
Factually inaccurate Muslims Never ruled Pan India Except (aurangzeb for brief time )
Except for some fringe territory in far extreme south and east end of current India, Muslim Emperors, Sultans, Nawabs ruled rest of India for vast majority of times between 1000-1800AD. They were the unrivaled dominant forces in the sub continent for this entire times except for a brief period after 1700s when Maratha gained power exploiting the weakness of Mughal Empire and fragmentation of Muslim held territories. So claiming that 'Muslim ruled India for 800 years' is not factually incorrect. I do not know why you guys have problem to accept this truth. British never ruled entire Sub continent in any moment of their 200 years rule over India, approximately 40 percent of territory were ruled by various local princes. Still we have no problem acknowledging British ruled India for 200 years, so why you guys have problem acknowledging the previous 800 years? Is it because you find the British are the distant colonial power(so do not compromise Hindu dignity) but Muslims are ever present reality in India?

Zargar was a research fellow at the Jamia Millia University in Delhi and the media coordinator for the Jamia Coordination Committee (JCC) which organised weeks of protests against the citizenship law passed by the government in December of last year.

According to a *Times of India* report, Delhi police say Zargar is being kept at a separate cell in Tihar Jail and has been provided medical supervision and facilities.

They accused Zargar of being a "key conspirator" of the communal violence that erupted in Delhi in February. At least 56 people were killed in clashes between Hindus and Muslims in the country's capital.

The riots in New Delhi began over India's disputed new citizenship law, which led to clashes in which hundreds were injured and houses, shops, mosques, schools and vehicles were set on fire.

Tensions between Hindu hard-liners and Muslims protesting the Hindu-first policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government had been building for months when the violence exploded on the eve of US President Donald Trump’s state visit to India.

The new Indian law grants citizenship to persecuted Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians who fled Muslim-majority Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan prior to 2015.

Muslims protested against the law as it does not give them the same rights to citizenship as members of other faiths, a move critics say undermines the secular constitution.

Critics also accused Modi's government of drafting the new rules to favour its hardline Hindu agenda aimed at disturbing permanent settlements belonging to Muslims.

Thousands, including students at the Jamia Millia Islamia University, also protested against the law in December which ended in clashes between the police and demonstrators.

A march by students from the university descended into chaos on December 16 when Police used rubber bullets and tear gas on protesting students. Video footage showed officers running after unarmed protesters and beating them with wooden sticks.

Delhi Minorities Commission Chairman Zaraful Islam Booked Under Sedition Charges Over Controversial Tweet

Delhi Police's special cell has booked the chairman of Delhi Minorities Commission Zaraful Islam Khan under charges of sedition for making 'provocative' remarks in his social media posts for which he had later issued an apology, reports Hindustan Times.

The FIR against Khan had been filed by a resident of New Delhi's Vasant Kunj who has stressed in his complaint to the Delhi police that Khan's social media post contained provocative content intended to cause disharmony and create a rift in the society.

In his post, Khan hailed Islamic Salafi-jihadist preacher Zakir Naik, whose preaching is banned in various countries, who is linked to many terrorism incidents, and is wanted in India for criminal activities. Furthermore, the Interpol has also issued a red corner notice (RCN) against him.

As if this wasn’t enough, Khan warned that if Indian Muslims are pushed to complain to the Arab world about “hate campaigns, lynchings and riots”, then the Hindutva "bigots will face an avalanche”.

After Khan's communal remarks had set off a controversy, he had issued a statement in which he claimed to acknowledge that his post was 'ill-timed' and 'insensitive' in the view of nation's ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

When are muslims planning to cry in front of their desert masters against this ? ,It's getting so predictable n funny.
Create a controversy ,cry victimhood, try n defame India ,then ask why Islamophobia ? Lol

Between Islamophobia do exists in India ,reasons being muslims being overwhelming involved in activities like terrorism, human trafficking, murders ,rioting, theft etc wrt their population, not to mention the fact that muslim ghettos are hub of all these things and
states where muslim population increases they endup becoming hotbed of law n order issues.
