Is there a ban on Azaan (prayer call) in effect ?

In Saudi Arabia they locked down mosques completely. But in India, it's all victimization drama. Most ME countries have locked down their mosques, hell I heard Azaan in some ME countries, instead of coming to prayer was stay home. Now ya'll want them coming to the mosque in India and hold a prayer, police will beat them or arrest them, then new propaganda, full cycle.

Azaan hasn't stopped anywhere. Azaan's wording has changed.. and rightly so. There's a tradition in Hadiths that allows using these words in Azaan to stop people from coming to mosques if there's a risk to lives of people.

But, Azaan has never been banned in any Muslim country.

The video in the original post is not about Muslims praying in mosques, but about giving azaan. Police are claiming that there is an order that azaan is banned by the Lt. Gov and therefore trying to enforce that "supposed" order.

Could you show me if such an order is issued? I haven't seen one. Till then, spare us your house negro mentality.

If they comply, no reason to drag them. But i am pretty sure when they do show resistance, jailers do drag them. Since death sentences being carried out are already extremely rare in India(8 since 2000) and the videos are not public, i can't really answer that, but there's no reason to assume it doesn't happen. Pretty sure a few prisoners break down and have to be dragged.

As for this guy, well if he is infected(or has been in very close contact with someone with the virus), he must know very well he is a danger to others and despite that if he still tries to escape, then what can be done. My guess is that he tried to escape, got caught, refused to go back in and tried to rough his way out. Then all the staff ganged up and dragged him back in.

The point of this whole thread is a non-issue, there is no ban on blasting Azaan through a speaker. Not even in Delhi, let alone in North India. The video posted is in some locality in Delhi where a few constables took the matter to their own hands for easy crowd control.

The point of this whole thread is a non-issue, there is no ban on blasting Azaan through a speaker.

I can see that intense disdain for anything related to Islam.

As that era dwindled down it was mostly frustration I felt as the mobs here took all that discussion space too like they always owned it....then it simply turned into resignation from me after nothing done to correct that....*shrug*

So its mostly resignation from my end now still speaking....and defiant post here and there when I feel like it.... to do a little "system check" for anyone that might be listening and in position to maybe do something about it. But its just probably voicing to 3 - 4 ppl in largely empty greek ampthitheatre in the end lol...audience is elsewhere doing other things now.
