Is Singapore Air force only second to India in South Asia?

Pakistan should go for J-10 B and should have at least 250 of them by producing them in Pakistan and also they should try to get any Euorpean Plane and if they can get it with TOT it will be great work

Yes Pakistan is going for J-20 and also its own Stealth Plane with Chinees Help but still with need this 4.5 Genration Aircraft by the plan of including 150 is already their but I think we should increase it to 250 with 300 JF-17 level 2 the most upgraded model and also finally include J-20 and also our own Stealth Plane so we can make any country who messes with us a part of history :pakistan:

There are a very few malays(who are mostly muslims)) in the Singapore Air force. However, there are many indian or other muslims. Singapore, main concern is the ethnic malays as they think they will desert them for malaysia or indonesia in terms of war.

I beg to differ in the second part, singapore is heavily protected by china. Furthermore, zionists didnt develop singapore, it was just one jewish guy who helped singapore formulate its economic policies. The base is in sembawang not woodlands.

SDF have a healthy number of muslim malays. Its the air force which does not have a fair representation of malays

1. Sembawang is a locality famous for the largest shipyard in S'pore. Woodlands used to be the largest and last base of the British Empire before they winded up, and handed over to USA. One passes through the Woodland area on way to the Causeway to Johor Bahru. But the base isn't visible because of the thick forest and vegetation.

2. After Tunku Abdur Rahman let them off, Lee Kwang took two farsighted decisions. First, he brought a Gurkha contingent to form the security force of the VVIPs. This still continues.

3. Secondly, Tunku brought a contingent of 300 selected Israelis to help him set up his security forces. This contingent set up the SDF much like the IDF. However, it has to be said that SDF is far more efficient and advanced than IDF. They have also developed certain changes which IDF are too constrained to undertake.

4. Most of these Israelis have now retired and gone back. But some have married local girls and remained. More experts have been brought when necessary.

5. From these connections with Intel and Security Forces, have developed commercial cooperation, defense production and finally the establishment of the most powerful monetary center in this region. Therefore, the capitalist world must protect S'pore.

6. Yes, S'pore looks to China as the mother country. Mandarin is compulsory for the Singaporean Chinese who must learn basic Chinese history also. This gives S'pore a huge commercial advantage in PRC.

7. However, the largest capital input in S'pore comes from Japan. Barring few all the shopping malls are Japanese. Japanese have major stake in most of S'pore's larger businesses. S'pore keeps her national reserve deposit with the Japanese.

1. Woodlands does not have any american base. There is a air force base in woodlands, but it belongs to singapore. The american base is connected to the sembawang shipyard. And yes it is in sembawang.

2. Can you provide a link for the israeli part, cos as far as i know israelis are not even allowed to enter malaysia.

3. The same goes for malays and indians in learning their own mother tounge. Especially indians after the rising of india. Everyone in singapore knows at least a little bit of malay

There is a big difference between Singapore and Israel, in that Singapore is now at good terms with all her neighbors. However they have to be caution for (1) their tiny land size, and (2) they are located on an extremely strategic location that control shipping routes through Malacca Straits.

I am sure they will not pre-emptive attack any of their neighbors.

completely agree

what I find strange and impressive as well is, it seems they had f-5s and all of sudden they start having f 16 Block 52s & F-15 SG s! there is nothing in between no f 4, no f-16 block 30-40 or f-15 A-C! nothing else! quantum leap  from less than an average AF to a deadly one!
Its related to mainly to Malaysia. Until middle of 90-es Malaysia had very weak air force with 16 F-5s and 40 A-4s.

Singapore had 8 F-16A, 41 F-5 and 4 E-2C.

Then Malaysia started build up, buying 14 MiG-29N in 1995, 8 F/A-18D in 1997 and finally 18 Su-30MKK (with PESA radars) in 2007. This greatly increased Malaysia air force.

But in return Singapore ordered 74 F-16 block 52 then 24 F-15SG with AESA radars and 4 Phalcon AEW&C. :D

P.S.
