Russia confirms attack on Turkish forces in Idlib

BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:45 A.M.) – The head of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, Admiral Oleg Goralev, said that the militant forces placed explosive devices on the patrol path of the Turkish military on Tuesday.

He said in a press conference on Tuesday: “An improvised explosive device exploded during the passage of a Turkish patrol in the Sufahan region, today, Tuesday, where two vehicles were damaged as a result of the explosion, and two Turkish soldiers were wounded.”

According to him, the militants groups not controlled by the Turkish side continue to take steps to destabilize the situation in the Idlib region.

He stressed that the militants carried out during the past 24 hours seven bombing operations in the Idlib Governorate, while no violations of the ceasefire system were observed by armed factions loyal to Turkey.

He concluded by saying: “The Russian Reconciliation Center calls on the leaders of the illegal armed formations to abandon provocations with weapons, and take the path of a peaceful settlement.”

Radicals Blew Up Bridge On M4 Highway In Syria’s Greater Idlib (Photos)

On March 25, radical militants blew up a bridge on the strategic M4 highway in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib.

According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the Kafir bridge, located to the west of the west of the city of Jisr al-Shughur in northwest Idlib, was blown up by “Jihadists” in the early morning.

The vicinity of the Kafir bridge is tightly controlled by al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP). Such an attack couldn’t have happened without the approval or knowledge, of these two terrorist groups.

Opposition activists said the bridge was blown up to hinder Russian and Turkish plans to conduct joint patrols on the M4. The highway links the port city of Lattakia with Syria’s industrial hub, Aleppo city.

Reopening the strategic M4 highway is the keystone of the Russian-Turkish agreement on Greater Idlib reached on the 5th of this month.

Turkey is yet to fulfil it commitment and reopen the highway, which remains under the control of terrorist groups. This hesitation by Ankara could lead to a new confrontation in Greater Idlib. The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies will likely try to reopen the highway by force, if political means fail.

Poorsiana have a habit of getting stomped by everybody like the Macedonians, Arabs, Turks and the Mongols.

Dont be surprised if Turkey bitchslaps Iran just like in Caldiran I forgot the Safavids were Turks too lmaooooo

Poor iranian slaves.

When Mongols invaded the Anatolian plateau, they killed the men and took the women as slaves. Turks are the descendants of that. Every nation has been conquered and stomped by some other, that is how human history played out. The difference is that some people recognize that, while other people live in delusions of grandeur and conquest and even start worshiping their conquerors. Funny seeing so many turks worshipping Timur(who was from uzbekistan) while he was the one who slaughtered the people living there. Pakistanis are similar, they adore any persian/turk/central asian/arab who invaded our region.

I cant think of whats more pathetic... embracing your buttfuckers like some Turkified anatolis?

or trying to steal other peoples history by claiming shah's of Iran like Nader Shah. Who few in history before him ravaged and bent over so many torks in his life time...

he slaughtered 100k ottoman armies for fun, ended the hotaki dynasty and slaughtered every afghan on his way to capture delhi.. (one of his officers was the founder of modern Afghanistan)

Shahs of Iran. with a state that recognizes itself as Irans successor, with a Iranian dominated Army, government, and clergy. infact after the famous battle of yeghevard when Naders advance guard of 15 000 slaughtered the entire ottoman army of over 80 000 before the main Persian army could engage. The Turkish commander of the army was beheaded by a Persian soldier named "Rostam".

how pathetic do you have to be to try and claim that as your own history? I see azeri's doing this. but didn't know turks were this pathetic too..
