Iran's space agency unveiled it's first kick stage for SLVs

Neither are the problem. It's IRI inability to execute a complex project like that. It's no secret that IRI selects "managers" based on their religious commitment, and nepotism, rather than capability. I believe it was Ahmadinejad who made that point very clear when he said: "we don't want muhandis (engineers), we want momen (faithful)". And this philosophy was not particular to his administration, but rather a practice carried out by all IRI's governments thus far.

So you American/Israeli idiots killed our nuclear scientists because of their religious beliefs !?

Sorry but STFU !!!

Maybe you should take a look at your own first steps in space technology which done by German scientists not American Burger guys ...

What the balls? This slv got four ------ :P

Balls !?

What's the dick :

There is no issue with "executing a complex project". Iran has launched apes and satellites into space and continues to do so. The biggest problem is budget which is understandably low.

@SOHIL there is no need for profanity. I am not an Israeli, I am in fact an Iranian-American. I made an observation based on what your own president had stated. IRI has been trying to put a satellite into orbit for a long time. Had IRI devoted enough resources to this endeavor, money and able managers, it would have achieved this goal already. Instead IRI spends far greater on seminary students than on education (I advise you review IRI's current budget).

As for your scientists being assassinated, that was despicable and wrong.

Did the US benefit from German scientists' work on rocket science? Of course, the same way you are benefiting from the work that others have done. Science is a work in progress.

So we have to judge Americans from :

???

I think you know that Iran already launched 4 satellites into space successfully !?

We are trying to evolve our capabilities ... Which takes time to achieve ...

Everything about religious people instead of real scientists is bullshit ...

This is not how things work in reality ...

This is stupidity ... Self destruction !!!

I agree with some of your points, they did this to many Iranian companies, putting "momen" people in top positions with devestating effects for those companies and organizations and the economy.
But if you're Iranian why do you talk as if you're american, why only waving american flags? You'll never be american and accepted as american by at least 50% of USA and you should not consider yourself american if you know the behaviour of USA towards Iran. You're just a citizen, Iranian living abroad.

Contrary to your comment, everytime a pro-west government is elected, Iran's science growth rate falls severely.
Also that quote from Ahmadinejad is fake.

@Shapur Zol Aktaf I am speaking as an Iranian-American. Do Iranians consider Afghani immigrants as Iranians? Probably not. Do most American consider me "American"? Probably not. But I have so much more rights, civil and legal, as an immigrant in the US than as an Iranian living in Iran, let alone as an Afghani, a Bahai, or Sunni.

Also, I am criticizing a policy, not a country. When I quote Ahmadinejad, I am not criticizing the people of Iran, or Iran as a culture or country. I have seen people react angrily to critical statements, which really does nothing to advance the conversation.

The behavior of US towards Iran is the same behavior towards any country that "prides" itself to be the enemy of US. Now you may argue Iran's animus is justified due to US history with Iran. But US has a right to do the same with Iran after the Marines bombing in Lebanon, etc. Iran is not as innocent as it claims. The US and Iran consider each other as enemies. How did you assume the US would behave towards Iran?

You seem to be insinuating that Iran has not already launched a satellite into space.

Just goes to show how much you really know about Iran. Some idiot Momen did this, huh?

Anyway, your posts here are off topic.

@mohsen There's no way for me to prove or disprove your statement; I don't live in Iran. But you also provide little evidence of your statement. Can you site some sources please?

@AmirPatriot I did not use the word idiot, you did. BTW, there is nothing wrong to be a devout Muslim, Christian, Jew, Hindu, etc. My point wasn't that the faithful couldn't do as good a job, my point was/is that it's a wrong key measure to appoint someone solely on the basis of their degree of devotion, as Ahmadinejad indicated, especially for a country that's trying to catch up to the rest of the world in fields such as space, military, oil and gas, etc.

Why are my arguments off-topic again?! Because I disagree with you?! You are very assuming of your own verity.

my point was/is that it's a wrong key measure to appoint someone solely on the basis of their degree of devotion

And your credibility in such a claim is already highly suspect seeing as you haven't known Iran has launched a satellite for 8 years now.

Why are my arguments off-topic again?!

Because you're talking about management criteria in a topic about a specialised stage in a Space Launch Vehicle that even I did not know the function of.

@AmirPatriot I disagree with your first point, but second point is dully noted.
