I grant you there people who do these things, but in your opinion, a few hundreds/thousands of people chanting anti-US slogan, that mean Iran sucks? what about 79.99 million people who don't do these things? A lot of those people NEEDED bombing, although I didn't agree with Iraq. We should have left them alone. Afghanistan had plenty of people that needed killing. Still does. But we went about that all wrong. We shouldn't have had such a large 'footprint' there. We shouldn't get involved in 'nation building'. That's NOT what armies do. As far as the drones in Pakistan and Yemen, I like it. Tons of 'bad guys' there and despite what the governments say to their people, they WANT the U.S. to bomb those places.

Yes, such actions make the mockery out of poor engineers and scientists who are actually doing something... Iran is better now with this new president though... so far we seen good quality things unveiled.

I don't think it was near a million and the bulk of those were killed in the Sunni-Shia civil war. Of coarse civilians ALWAYS get killed in war. It's not in our interest to target civilians. It's a waste of time and resources. Unproductive. Iran played a nice part in the civil war by supplying the Shia with arms and training. It's still going on now. Iran supplied arms to Shia militias that were used against U.S./NATO troops, too.
