Iranian Space program

Trying to read the last words in the bottom...It say something like "space agency is going to develop small Satellite launch capability from an air force boeing plane".!!!:undecided::undecided:
There was discussion here some months back regarding launching ballistic missiles from aircraft so the idea is not far fetched...

Richard Branson’s Space satellite start up Virgin orbit uses a plane assisted launch for satellites.

So the idea isn’t far fetched at all and economically sound.

Iran’s Sarir would likely not have failed if it were plane assisted launch because it would give them just enough power to reach orbit. But they would probably have had to be modified for such a launch system.

It could be a work around if Iran’s stronger SLVs aren’t going to be deployable anytime soon.

It has been almost 2 years since the IRGC's first military satellite was launched, and today Nour 01 it is still in orbit (beating all Iranian civilian satellites and the US "big mouth"). https://www.n2yo.com/satellite/?s=45529
Well, the orbit was nearly circular from the beginning and at 400 kilometers, the life expectancy of Noor was already assumed to be longer than 2-3 years. The only problem is nobody knows what it is broadcasting and how useful it is for military purposes.

On a different note, I am disappointed that we haven't had a satellite launch yet. Today is the anniversary of the Iranian revolution and we all expected a satellite launch to happen before today.
