Tourism is a a 2 factor, one is us and the other is foreign people, and as long as we have bloody enemies who advertise against us 24/7, you can forget Tourism.

Assad's main mistake was opening his doors to refugees when U.S. attacked Iraq.... same mistake Iran has make!
In the past 10 years Saudi Arabia hasn't even taken in 600 refugees because they knew exactly what was going on & were paranoid that the U.S. would have used the same tactic against them!

Most of whom are regular people but as we see in Syria all it takes is the infiltration of 20K crazy's to cause havoc!!!!!! That's 2000 armed crazy's in 10 cities in Iran which make the need to strengthen the Basij a necessity as much as making 10% of Iranian soil secular a necessity!!!!!
And 10% of Iranian soil would be larger than Grease and a little smaller than Syria so hell even 5% would be plenty larger than Netherlands designated in unbuilt area's, Some Historical sites, some ski resorts, just one of Iran's 30 Islands, unbuilt areas off the shores of the south....
