We had 25 years to keep the hatred for Americans after the war (1975 - 1995). It is long time enough so that we can leave the past and towards the future.

I must admit to you that about 2/3 of the Vietnamese people now forgive for US, because 2/3 of Vietnamese were born after the war. Moreover, we beat them, why we should continue to keep the hatred with who that we defeated?

If you can not beat someone, you will keep hatred him forever until you die. It is understandable to humans.

And why is it you guys keep the hatred for China? Did you people here not claim you have beaten France, US and China? Oh Vietnam didn't beat Japan so do you keep hatred for Japan forever until you die? I don't think so because i see you Viets cheerleading for Japan.

Maybe not the most dumbest thing ever said on the internet but it is close. It's good to have some Iranian members here to criticize these Vietnamese. They think Iran is asking for trouble by not letting ever sites to be inspected. The Pinoys and Viets here worship US yet this country was responsible for slaughtering them back in those days. Iran has every right to develop nuclear energy. We don't even care if Vietnam wants to have closer ties with Iran, we only laugh at the idea of Vietnam persuading Iran to give up nuclear energy which was suggested by Viet himself. Don't know why these cheerleaders love the US so much after spraying them with chemicals to poison them and turn them into BBQ with napalm. They murdered plenty of Pinoys too and then there are the Japanese who let loads of Viets starved to death during WW2. Like you said slavery mentality.

Well, your fellow hate Americans so much, so why they are still in droves for get jobs in a company to make Apple products?
And Japan, they killed more than 20 million Chinese during the 2nd Sino-Japanese war, so why your country still welcomed thousands of their companies?

Yes, your country still regularly threat and even killed Vietnamese fishermen in Vietnam's EEZs, then blamed loudly that Vietnam is a "troublemaker". You know that the Chinese even threated that "sound of cannons" for Vietnam and the Philippines in SCS! LOL

We defeated Japan to set a Vietnamese government and declare of independence September 2, 1945 before the cowardly French came back. Exactly so.

Please add that western material often seek to deny the victory of the Vietnamese people and Viet Minh against the Japanese. This is so because at that time, 1945, the empires countries seeks not to recognize the independence of colonial countries, so they have to find ways to enhance the role of "Allies", including France and Chiang Kai-shek.

The fact that, the fascist Japan has been defeated by Viet Minh and the Vietnamese people before so-called "Allies" came to "disarm the Japanese army".

I actually quite baffled on the sanction against Iran, wasn't the Sanction was initiated by the UNSCR 1747, which not only USA, but all 15 UNSC Seat say "Yay" on the issue (That's included The UK, China, Russian, France, Belgium, Congo, Ghana, Indonesia, Italy, Panama, Peru, Qatar, South Africa and Slovkia), how it become a US lone sanction from a UN Sanction?

We don´t hate China. However, we dislike your bad attitudes and constant provocations.

We had a war with Japan, and now have a good relationship. We like them because they support us in rebulding the country. Things have changed. Cheerleading is a wrong word.

That's not even close with threatening a war like what the US and Israel are trying to do. Vietnamese fishermen becoming fish food sounds good.

Reestablish ties and doing business with Japanese companies is one thing, refuse to apologize by the Japanese like the Germans did is another. It's not your right to tell Chinese people to forgive them after what they did nor are the Chinese telling Vietnam or Philippines to hate or love Japan/USA. It just surprises us that you go cheerleading for them whenever it suits you guys and go anti China all the time.

This is not called beating Japan, it says clearly some Japanese officials in IndoChina were causing trouble in Vietnam and refused to accept the surrender to the Allies. Japan wasn't sending any troops to Vietnam anymore, your people just fought against the left overs in Vietnam.
