This looks more like a desperate face saving attempt by the US.

What the Iranians did to US drones is unthinkable. From shooting them down to hacking them mid-flight.

The Iranians inspected every nut and bolt of captured US drones. They are building their drones by studying US drones. It couldn't get more humiliating for a superpower.

The US chest thumping about taking down a cheap Iranian drone is not a story.

Iranian armed forces officially denied this news and said all Iranian drones including the one trump mentioned has returned home after finishing it's predefined surveillance mission, and there is no report of any active engagement from USS Boxer.

If Trump really lied about downing of an Iranian drone (It looks more and more likely that he did) and if it turns out that they actually downed one of their own drones by mistake ..then yes we can all laugh but the more serious side of the story will be how a supper power has become so corrupt and ineffective that its top leader has to lie to make his people feel good!...

I do remember once general Hajizadeh said that Americans when nearby Iranian waters are calling IRGC to call off their aircrafts yet only to be responded by IRGC that there are no any airborn vehicles in the region.

Pics or it didn't happen. Funny the US was quick to show images of its own drone being shot from miles away but it won't/can't provide us with a simple image of a drone from less than a kilometer away.

Please stop distracting from the topic at hand - did US really down an Iranian drone flying over the USS boxer? cuz at this rate US and Iran are "lying" at the same rate so only evidence will clarify.
