1. They're buying a lot of loitering munitions. Aren't they a kind of reverse-engineered copy of Harpy?

What lifting surfaces do you see on the American common hypersonic glide vehicle that you don't think Iranian Fattah has?

The C-HGB uses supersonic shockwaves to generate lift, unlike the Fattah it does not have thrust vector controls. The C-HGB takes advantage of varying air density, it dives to a lower altitude and uses the denser air to induce a turn and utilizes the oblique shockwave to generate lift to return to a higher altitude.

But maybe you can answer it: Have the Ukrainians provided any evidence for shooting down the Kinzhal, or do they only claim it and the world is supposed to believe it?

Congrats to Iran. It proves my point. Pakistan has been left in the dust. Turkey, Iran and the likes are making massive strides in the defence industry. Proud and sovereign nations that are achieving milestones despite hardships and challenges.

Compare that with Western lackey Pakistan. A complete failure on the economic front. No notable achievements in the field of defence since the last few years. An army that likes to meddle in politics instead of carrying out its actual job. Just a complete shambles.

I know my friend, my point was Fattah uses its rocket boosters for that specific purpose I outlined. The issue with utilising pure HGV without such booster is how much energy they have lost by the time they are reachng their final phase of flight. Iran's Fattah does utilise the lift you mentioned but not extensively like those wedge shaped systems. Iran chose this current HGV version simply due to cost and the ability to produce this in larger numbers. Those wedge shaped systems require more expensive materials. I think ultimately though, the purpose of this system is to bypass air defence systems and It will do that greatly. Add that to the fact these will be produced in large number then you get the picture.

why do you think nations are investing in HGV's? Why not use a solid fueled second stage motor with TVC like Iran - powered flight all the way to the target? When you answer the above question you will know which of the two approaches is superior.
