Iran to supply Russia with “hundreds” of Drones

Because after so many weeks even their usually anaesthetized public was starting to sense that there's something rather fishy about the supposedly massive sale of drones of which not a single picture exists and which have never been sighted on the frontline.

I am still under this suspicious. A large transfer of UAVs would easily show it's footprint in Russian airbases, which commercial/civilian satellites images can pickup. Yet no images. Still not ruling it out, but also cautious.

Highly unlikely. Russians won't accept losing face, even if it means losing hundreds of lives.

That's just how it is. They'll absorb the problems they face and then work a way around it.

My main reason for doubts about it is pride. I think they have too much pride to get some, even though it would be helpful for them. Sometimes it's like this with human nature. No such thing as too many UAVs

Iran has much more efficient manufacturing compared to Russia. Russia can only manufacture 20 MALE drones a year. Iran has 10 times that capacity. Iran joining the supply chain in Ukraine war is a big deal. It fundamentally shifts the balance of power back to the rebel side.

Either they use Iranian drones or they lose the war and have Ukrainians invade Russian soil. Russians are not stupid. They know they are out gunned by American weapons, especially HIMARS. So the Iranian drones will save their arses the way America saved British arses in WW2.

They can really use a third-party country to supply them with a constant stream of ucav's and munitions'.

When a couple of western media claimed that NK has sold arms to Russia or provided them with manpower, Russians were quick to deny it.

On the other hand, they didn't deny the Iranian drones being sent to frontline with Ukraine. Military wise Russia can produce the needed hardware but considering the fact that it will be time consuming, they preferred to fill the gap from a friendly country. Something that Iran did in the past too.

Russia military production is much slower than Iranian military production. Iran can quite literally churn out hundreds of drones a year. Russia has about 10% of that capacity.
