Iraq was a very poor country(still is) and they did their best to kill all the American soldiers within their range.
Libya has been trying to defeat NATO but again, they are no match.

I understand quite a bit. Unlike Iraq, there won`t be any invasion and another 10 years of occupation by foreign forces so Iran will be able to launch some amount offensive against those that attack her(What little offensive will be left to her aside from their proxies in Lebanon, Hamas and other insurgencies.
There will be however a very precise attack against multiple targets disabling Iran`s defensive and offensive capabilities by targeting military bases, Nuclear reactors and Revolutionary compounds.

Ofcourse there won't be anything like that for Iran, because I'm sure even you people realise that unlike the porverty ridden, fragmented Iraqi society, the Iranians will actually put up a United resistance. And unlike the Republican Guards, the Revolutionary Guards will not just vanish into thin air.

Couple of years back I remember there was a lot of talk coming from the IDF on how you people will take out all our goodies through precision strikes and what not. The Israeli Airforce will wipe out the Nuclear reactors, bla bla. Alas, big brother America refused to help and your precision strikes never came. Without the US you can do nothing. And even the US realises this is not gonna be a cake walk like Iraq or Afghanistan. So all that is left for you is to dream. But ofcourse, if these sweet thoughts help you sleep better at night, by all means. Sleep tight.
