Sadly, things are getting out of hand. I have always feared a new viral pandemic. Unlike treatment for bacterial infection, we have little anti viral treatments available. Best advise at the moment is doing whatever possible to reduce our contact with others. If you can avoid being in public places, do so.

looks like Iran is going to get punished for being the first country in the region advanced enough to pick up on the coronavirus infections....

Just like how spain got blamed for the "Spanish flu" even though it was most likely caused by an American soldier going to Europe.... spain being the only country not in war readily published its flu casualties while everyone else hid it. in return they got blamed for it and a lot of people still think it was a Spanish origin flu..


There is no doubt in my mind this virus is also ravaging Pakistan, India and Afghanistan at least as bad as Iran. Its just those countries cant pick up on it unless it becomes a huge outbreak...

in India for example 20 000~ people a year die from freakin RABIES..... a few hundred random people dying from coronavirus would not register there...

I do not believe for a second that coronavirus somehow skipped india's 1.2 billion population and hopped into IRan..

It is not about how big the population is , but who do they come in contact with

Qom has about 1 million population but has about 20 million visitors a year. That is why there was a higher chance for the virus to get in and that why there is great concern that those visiting would spread the virus out all over the middle east.
