Iran Plans to Send Astronauts into Space for Space Biology Studies

.
As long as the Iranians don't rush into anything, they'll be fine. Just look at China... that seemingly ever so slow, calm and steady speed of their space program, yet they've marched so far ahead of many others with an impressive quality and quantity record in their space exploration.

we don't have enough time ...

I have a Question ... why pakistan canceled space launch vehicle program ?

Well, SUPARCO's budget for 2013-2014 is only $7.3 million while politicians have bullet proof vehicles more expensive than that. You simply cannot build an SLV with such short funding. Plus, there was way too much economic pressure on Pakistan between 2008-2011.

Pakistan will now only go for an SLV once they can first build their own satellite within the country.

so why some pakistani members say pakistan is a head of Iran in Missile & Space technology !?

this is a serious question ... Iranian members can prove that !!!

@Armstrong Iran petrochemical industry is actually one of its main sources of revenue, so I think you should have at least used Uncle Google (as Indonesians like to call it) before commenting...

However, Iran DOES have limited petroleum refining capacity! @Abi why is that my friend?! :D

Iran have limited oil refining capabilities because some body called zangeneh said its not our strategy to build oil refineries and as result in that field we fell 12-15 years behind and these was the years that European were stayed in line to invest in our oil sector

Yes with 3000-3500 KM ranged Shaheen (Falcon) missile and another 4000-4500 KM missile under development, better CMs,air launched ALCMs like Raad,Naval versions of 700+ km Babur(terrain hugging, stleathy CM)...all with better accuracy and better CEPs... etc etc... we can clearly say tht we are ahead... as for SLV... Pakistans SLV project was shown years ago... but due to budgetary restraints n fund shortage ... they havent been able to launch or develop it..(although it was scheduled to be launched in 2011)... now probably by 2015...

Paks SLV/PSLV:

In missile, yes. In space, no way despite Pakistan is operating its 4th satellite in space.

. . . .
Iran practically can. I won't deny their ability to send a man into space. Thing with Iran is that they are rushing towards a proud moment that an Iranian will travel in space on an Iranian rocket. They must realize that having a bigger rocket is more important than sending a man in space on a missile. Iran needs rocket capable of atleast 4000kg to LEO and over 2000 kg to GEO. That's when they will be considered a true space power.

both projects running ...

this part : "In missile, yes"

Are you sure?

Yes. There's no mistake about it, they're Pakistan's lifeline.

Pakistan's ballistic missile program was born out of desperation to counter Afghanistan when that country was armed with over 2,000 SCUD-B ballistic missiles in 1989. Then the Pakistani missile technology was very very carefully matured due to the missile race with India.

Iran's ballistic missile program did born out of necessity too, when Saddam was striking Iranian cities with his SCUS missiles, while Iran didn't have the same strike ability. Even now Iran's ballistic missile program is the most emphasized program in Iran's military, since it replaces Iran's relatively old air force and fits into Iran's deterrent strategy.
