Iran plans to build submarines equipped with nuclear propulsion systems

Perhaps they should team up with Pakistan to build such nuke subs, it makes sense to distribute manufacturing to multiple countries.
Do you want Part of Pakistan nuclear Sub be paraded in UN and then listed for sale on eBay. If not, I would suggest you to stay away from Iran.

Jask 2 has a range of 19 miles and is called a copy of Chinese C-704.

Whats so special about it? We produce Babur SLCM with much longer ranges.

And we are talking about nuclear subs not short ranged missiles.

Even your midget subs are basically iranian made copies of north korean subs.

The jask 2 is NOT the ashcm, the jask 2 is the powered launcher for the ashcm.Previously submarine launched cruise missiles were deployed from a buoyant capsule that was launched via a torpedo tube. These capsules were unpowered, they were designed to angle up towards the surface and when they broached the cruise missile would be launched, basically all pretty simple. The clever concept behind the jask 2 is that it is a powered system rather like a torpedo, tho much slower of course, that can be deployed and guided up to several kilometers from the launch sub before deploying the cruise missile its carrying. The advantages of this type of system should be quite obvious.
You can see the launch of the jask 2 powered ashcm launcher at around the 6:00 minute mark.

I also wouldnt sneer at the dprks midget submarines or their capabilities either, the dprk has more experience operating these types of boats in hostile waters than probably any other navy on the planet,in addition it was very likely one of these same type that carried out the only other sinking of an enemy warship since the brits sank the argetine general belgrano back in 82.

Why?,is a.q.khan still illegally selling nuclear technology with the connivance of the pakistan government?

Iran has the knowledge base and related industry to build such submarines if required, secondly they can get help from Russia as well, but in my opinion Iran don’t need such submarines for next few years before first building more heavy submarines of 1000 tons and more classification.
And pakistan doesnt. Where were the agusta 90b made?

Last time he chose the wrong customers. Bunch of idiots. There is nothing illegal btw.
When one is dealing in black market goods one really has little choice but to take whatever customers one can get,as for the legalities...well pakistan was not a member of the npt so that doesnt come into it...however including things like nuclear weapons designs in the bundle of equipment and data that you are selling normally would be considered to be a rather antisocial thing to do,for obvious reasons.......
Pakistans government really should`ve had a quiet little word to khan and told him to knock it off.....or else. The fact that they clearly didnt might lead one to believe that they were complicit in his little scheme, mightn't it?:agree:

we bought 6 before revolution and captured 5 from US delta Force , US army Rangers and Central inteligence agency in all we have 11
But remember, many on PDF still believe US and Iran are really allies. smfh.
