Iran on brink of nuclear capability -IAEA

Why shouldn't IAEA examine Israeli facilities for nuclear weapons? Israel does not have the right to possess nuclear weapons. Therefore just so the International community is sure it's facilities and sites should be examines by IAEA to see if Israel is not in violation.

Why Pakistan has the right to have nukes and prevent IAEA's inspections and Israel should not be allowed to do the same?

 Poor indians, bad luck but this news is not true. So sad for you guys.

2ndly don't forget your country voted against Iran on their nuclear issue at IAEA.

IAEA and other concerned agencies should wake up and take the call. this is damm serious.
yeah sure go and tell IAEA .... nuclear fajitas and tikkas are very dangerous for health
its really a serious matter .... its a matter of life and death

Now Pakistan should be worry about Israel allegedly nuclear missiles...

Just kidding, you do not have anything to worry about, keep away from Israel and do not support Israel's enemies (like Iran) and noting bad will happen to Pakistan.

BTW, Israel's Soreq nuclear complex is under IAEA inspection as it was provided to Israel by the US in the late 1950's as part of the "Atom for Peace" programme. Pakistan received the CANDU nuclear research reactor and the research facility of PINSTECH at the same time, if I remember correctly, and also under the "Atom for Peace".

I think the computer virus Iran received for its nuclear installations had set Iran back 10 years. No need to attack Iran.

Another excuse to cover up your defeat in dealing with Iran's nuclear program. It didn't set back Iran even 10 months, let alone 10 years. We just simply recovered from the attack. in 2009, Iran was only using one fifth of the total number of its centrifuges, right now I'm sure Iran has at least several thousands of centrifuges with more sophisticated technologies to be replaced with the older ones anytime it's necessary.

"They have been able to quickly replace broken machines," said a Western diplomat with access to confidential IAEA reports. Despite the setbacks, "the Iranians appeared to be working hard to maintain a constant, stable output" of low-enriched uranium, said the official, who like other diplomats interviewed for this article insisted on anonymity to discuss the results of the U.N. watchdog's data collection.

IAEA to say Iran nearing nuclear capability: report
By JoAnne Allen | Reuters – 1 hr 24 mins ago
(Reuters) - Intelligence provided to the United Nations' nuclear watchdog agency shows that Iran has mastered the critical steps needed to build a nuclear weapon, The Washington Post reported on Sunday.
According to the intelligence, Iran appears to have received crucial technical assistance from foreign experts, the newspaper reported, citing Western diplomats and nuclear experts briefed on the findings by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The IAEA report, to be issued this week, is expected to be its most detailed yet on research in Iran seen as geared to developing atomic bombs and is expected to spur Western powers to press for more sanctions on Iran.
The Washington Post said the report's findings provide new details on the role played by a former Soviet weapons scientist who allegedly tutored Iranians on high-precision detonators of the kind used to trigger a nuclear chain reaction.
The report says the intelligence also supports concerns that Iran continued to conduct weapons-related nuclear research after 2003, when U.S. intelligence agencies believed Iran halted the research in response to international pressure.
Western powers believe Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons under cover of a civilian nuclear energy program. Tehran denies wanting atom bombs, saying it is enriching uranium only to power reactors for electricity generation.
The United States, the European Union and their allies have imposed economic sanctions on Tehran for refusing to halt its uranium enrichment program. The United States and Israel have repeatedly hinted at the possible use of force against Iranian nuclear sites, eliciting threats of fierce retaliation from the Islamic Republic.
New disclosures in the IAEA report provide details on an apparent secret research program that was more ambitious, more organized and more successful than commonly suspected, The Washington Post said.
The Post quoted David Albright, a former IAEA official who reviewed the agency's findings, as saying that based on the intelligence the U.N agency has concluded that Iran "has sufficient information to design and produce a workable implosion nuclear device" using highly enriched uranium as its fissile core.
Albright described some of the highlights at a private conference of intelligence professionals last week, the newspaper said, adding that it had obtained slides from the presentation and a summary of Albright's notes.

Why every western news paper use the zionist David Albright as the reference??? Does it really mean having the technical now how means having the bomb?? Countries like Japan, South Korea, Germany, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina already possess such tech and also has enough enriched uranium. What about the case of South Korea when it was caught enriching weapon graded uranium couple of years ago??? Why this violation of NPT has been muted by IAEA??

Iran is already alleged to purchase several warheads for 30 million each after the disintegration of USSR ... So whats the big deal ?

Thats right,no need of war..
Iran should stop its nuclear programmes as it only causes disaster nothing else..
US should also realize the problem of Iran(which is US itself ) and try to resolve it via talks..
nuclear program is Iran's right .... if Israel and USA have nuclear weapons then why cant Iran ?

Iran should get few..It will bring Israel on discussion table...

Iran is a country with a great history, heritage and culture...why it should bow down to country like Israel??? If Israel can illegally get hold of Nukes then why cant Iran develop it on its own????

People of mumbai have special respect for Iran/Persians than Israel....

Because Iran is NPT signatory and Israel isn't! kapish?

I really have some doubts that the US, and Israel would just let Iran have nukes without a fight.... Anyway, i don't want Iran to have nukes, or anyother country in the ME, but if Israel is not getting rid of its Nukes, then Iran has the right to develop to own them too.
