Iran, major powers reach historic nuclear deal

I do not think it will take 3 or 4 years. Since structure remains only centrifuges will be put in storage. Additionally Iran can continue to research on Ir-8 and Ir-6, as much as it wants but will not just feed UF6 gas into it. Which is a formality.

Also the calandria is strategically unimportant. Since Iran officially does not want to build nukes as of now. The most important thing here is the knowledge that Iran has accumulated and this can not be taken away short of occupying Iran then tracking down and assassinating every single Iranian scientist, engineer and technician employed by Iran's atomic energy and research institutes/universities.

The knowledge is there. If push comes to shove, the knowledge will be put into use.
you guys don't even bother to read the original deal?

Iran will remove the following excess centrifuges and infrastructure not associated with
5060 IR-1 centrifuges in FEP, which will be stored at Natanz in Hall B of FEP under
IAEA continuous monitoring

and even asking permission from IAEA before replacing the damaged ones!
For the purpose of this Annex, the IAEA will confirm through the established practice
the failed or damaged status of centrifuge machines before removal

dry spinning is absolutely useless. for example IR-2 didn't show it's problem till a complete cascade was installed!
yet by this Vienn'chai even after 8 years still we can't really test the IR-8, while till that time IR-8 will be absolute, modern centrifuges are upto 100 times more powerful than our first generations centrifuges!

.
Priority should be airforce bro. I think we should not spent a penny buying anything until we have purchased 5th gen fighter planes. We need to spend as much money as possible developing the airforce sector. We should try and buy technology, try to even buy companies and shares of companies related to fighter jet engines etc.

exactly.
there is an aging fleet of Jets in IRAF's inventory.
The JF-17 and KAI T-50 can be a replacement for the F-5 light Fighter and Also the Iranians can Also Cooperate With Pakistan in the JF-17 Program providing their Valuable Experience from their own homegrown fighter "Saeqah".
this will benefit both the countries.

Plus I was Wondering Would It Be Possible now for Iran to Get the much needed Spares for their Fleet of F-14 Tomcat
or are you guy planning to retire it?

So? What is the problem in that? Even before this, Iran was informing IAEA about everything it was doing. The only way for Iran to have been completely independent in this regard would have been to pull out of NPT.

In a deal you give something to get something. In a deal you can not get everything you want and do not offer anything in return.

Tests can be designed with non-fissile materials and other gases. Small cascades can also be made without fissile gas. These are irrelevant issues which have technical solutions to them in time. I already wrote a detailed response in chill thread about issues you guys are raising. You might want to read that.

Congratulation to our Iranian friends. This again proved "Tough time never last but Tough people do"

I am really thinking on the policy shift of US towards Saudi. Its now very clear and confirmed. I think it will be very tough for current Saudi regime ( augmented by US and not by public support) to survive.

Further , I have one question to my Iranian friends- How you rate role of India during your tough time. Whether India played its friendly role to the extent possible under sanction regime? Or India just exploited the situation to ge benefit from Iran. I am not asking for analysis , only want to understand common perception prevails in Iran towards India.

@mohsen, @2800, @JEskandari, @Daneshmand, @, @Arminkh, @haman10, @Serpentine

Well if I have to be honest there were seven types of countries in this whole situation from perspective of Iranians:

1) Countries that were adversaries of Iran which were implementing harmful policies to hurt Iran like US, UK, France, Saudi Arabia etc etc

2) Countries that were not harming Iran but shunned Iran either to protect themselves from above countries or just to see who comes out as victor like New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa etc etc

3) Countries that were not harming Iran but dealt with Iran because it was beneficial to themselves like Japan, South Korea, India (which by the way had voted to send Iran's file from IAEA to UNSC)

4) Countries that were not harming Iran but dealt with Iran in order to both benefit themselves as well as use Iran as a negotiating chip against West like China and Russia

5) Countries that were not harming Iran but dealt with Iran and tried to help Iran get a negotiated solution; These are only three:Oman, Brazil and Turkey (though Turkey tried to harm Iranian interests in Syria).

6) Countries that were not harming Iran and did not have anything to do with Iran like Mongolia, Kenya etc etc

7) Countries that were allies of Iran but these are mostly too weak to help Iran in anyways rather they need Iran's help themselves like Venezuela, Iraq, Syria

even though that I hate Wahhabis but he has some point ... this was our right from begging , in fact we gave some of our rights to gain some others ... ultimately we lost more than we gained ...

امیدوارم که این توفق به صلاح مردم این کشور باشه. وقتی که شما میگی دلگرم میشم. ولی من خیلی ها رو تو اینترنت می شناسم که خیلی از این توافق و روحانی شاکين.

Leonhard Foeger | Reuters
Secretary of State John Kerry (L) leaves Palais Coburg, the venue for nuclear talks in Vienna, Austria, July 13, 2015.
Iran and six major powers have clinched a historic nuclear deal, Reuters reported early Tuesday, citing an Iranian diplomat, sending oil prices lower.

The agreement would likely see some sanctions on Tehran removed in exchange for restrictions to its nuclear program.

"All the hard work has paid off and we sealed a deal. God bless our people," the diplomat told Reuters, speaking on the condition of anonymity. The news agency said that another Iranian official had confirmed the agreement.

Oil prices came under pressure following the news, with Brent crude trading down 1.7 percent at $57.85 a barrel at 7:30 a.m. London time.

Iran and the major powers have been negotiating for more than two weeks in Vienna in an effort to strike a deal under which Tehran would curb its nuclear program in return for relief from economic sanctions that have crippled its economy.

Great news !!!!!!!!!!
:cheers::cheers:

Now Pakistan can easily work with Iran for possible Oil and Gas Pipelines to Pakistan and then to India and China as well. And also Iran will invest in Pakistan Oil and mineral sector too. But Pak should also go for Turkmenistan Oil and Gas Pipelines too to supply more Oil and Gas to Northern Pakistan and to India and China. As Iranian Oil and Gas would be good for Southern parts like Sindh and Balochistan.

No, they are not they would like to keep Iran they it was not the way it will be next few years from now.

That looks like an interesting post. Would you mind working on the English to make it slightly more understandable?

This is not about being hezbollah. This about being treated like idiots by our government and us loving it. Why 2 years of negotiations then?

Read the agreement. I went through the 160 pages. Its a joke. Its everything the US wanted from day 1 and the only thing that was added was some nice words for iran.

Remember our red line being no military inspections? Gone. Remember, how sanctions should be removed all at once and same day? Gone. And a dozen other red lines. What is left?

What a joke.none of you have any right to attack the arab countries now. We are no different than them. If USA SAYS jump, we all say, how high?

You are right. Marg bar Amreeka for 36 years ended in Amreeka you are welcome to inspect us at your convenience. A long and painful struggle with sever economic and political damages that eventually resulted in the same thing you have been trying to avoid 36 years ago.

We Indians are very happy with this deal . Soon we hope it finalizes and we get to trade tech and automobile Industry with Iran . I have worked with Iranians in the Past and they have some serious IT talent which we would love to tap . There are talks of opening both Research and manufacturing base for automobiles in Iran to take over the Middle Eastern, North African and Central asian markets with Iran as a base .

Also Indian IT outsourcing companies would love to have a base there .
