It was a well done reenactment. Probably happened, but I haven't seen a camera man that would film a gun fight without shaking all over the place with unbelievable closeups. Even soldiers shooting have a hard time keeping perfectly still in a gunfight. 2.5 tons in a pickup truck also seems a really big number. The amount seen on the truck did not feel to be the weight suggested. There were times when it felt real, but no reason to call it actual footage, it just ruined the good work done making the footage.
