Sometimes these Irani Moollahs remind me of Soviets. They fire just ONE rocket on Saudi Arabia & in return they will have a full blown war with GCC. Military balance is immensely in GCC's favor. All of Iranian Navy, Air Force & static installations will turn into junk, their armor would never reach GCC & they will have to live with GCC jets patrolling Iranian skies for a decade.

Not to forget Saudis have a crap load of Ballistic missiles to hurl back at Iran. So everyone should take a chill pill and stop talking about war.

Iran won't ever start a war. It is just reminding Saudi to be careful. Saudi in 2015 with King Salmon and their PlayStation Prince is acting dangerous.

It's not a Sunni and Shia conflict but the idiots in power in both countries are both Sunni and Shia who don't want to coexist and keep the region is endless ethnic rivalry.

I'm not sectarian but I wish both of you would leave religion and fanatical nationalism aside and just live normally like everyone else. When you have two countries(Iran and Saudi Arabia) both asserting themselves as religious authorities for two major 'denominations'(Shia and Sunni) then it means they will do everything to prevent cultural progress to remain having that influence. All the clerics use religion as a tool, and exploit it heavily, especially major ones. They are just tools of the state government, in Palestine we call them 'Shieookh Sultah(Shiekhs of the state' or 'Shakayash(people who piss on themselves not genuine shiekhs'. Anyways I am going to put on more rational views from now on(except with Palestine of course ), and I hope I can change some peoples thoughts(primarily Muslims).

Religious conflicts are just an excuse. It has always been about self-interest and regional power. I'm dragging USA into it because USA is involved in the Middle East. Notice I didn't mention Switzerland or Argentine or Costa Rico.

The US is certainly taking the advantage of the Sunni-Shia rivalry, and imagine if the Sunni and Shia were united, then it would be definitely troublesome for their little buddy Israel.

Saudis don't have a crap load of ballistic missiles. They bought less than a hundred from China a million years ago and they're now useless. Military balance is indeed in favor of the GCC though. But they're Arabs after all. You give them a rifle and they'll use it as a spoon. Give them a tank and they'll find a way to get a flat tire. Essentially, with Arabs, you need a different measuring stick. They haven't fought a single war in the past century where they haven't put down their weapons and ran. Or left billions of dollars worth of armament behind to be blown up by the enemy without resistance.

They simply don't know how to fight, but they do have the advantage.

First of all, the basis of this news is misinterpreted. No one threatened anyone with war. It was a comment regarding response to any kind of hostile action against Iran by any country, Saudis included.

Secondly, you are giving Saudis too much credit. No they can't patrol Iranian skies for decades, because almost all of their major facilities near Persian gulf (economic hub of Saudi Arabia) will be destroyed by short range ballistic missiles and hundreds or thousands of cruise missiles and they can't even afford to continue the war for months, let alone a decade, while Saudi oil exports will be brought down to zero in few days, Iran is used to oil exports of less than 1 million barrel a day.

Plus Iran has started a massive indigenous air defense program and it is beginning to bear fruits, producing short and medium range air defense system and soon a long range one, all produced in huge numbers. We don't buy air defense from any other country and if anything, identifying, downing or shooting down various kinds of foreign spy drones all over Iran is only a small indication.

Btw, please don't compare a fully indigenous missile program with mass production with buying a handful of old Chinese ballistic missiles.

How do you explain the shelf life situation? The motors, fuel etc... are all past their shelve lives. They only bought 80 something missiles. And no, they're not as accurate b/c they have no idea how to use them.

9 times out of 10 Arab armies get out of their tanks and leg it back for no apparent reason. You mean to tell me that they have training on how to use missiles? Missile that are decades past their expiry dates? Missile that have to be sent back to China for simple refurbishing situations, b/c they don't have the capability to do it in Saudi. They wouldn't even be able to load them on a flat bed and deliver them to the nearest port. They're all for show.
