From Egypt I expected it because of Erdogan’s stupid foreign policy towards Egypt but Iran? It only shows Iran is not trustworthy. Not so long ago they said that Iran and Turkey should work together against the PKK and now this.

We will even help Turkey. Most of Iranians whether on this forum or in Iran are asking for better relations with Turkey, but respect for Syria's territorial integrity is on priority of Iran's foreign policy.

If Turkey works with Syrian government, at the same time, she would receive man power to fight against separatists. You have my word friend, please remember that Syria is Iran's ally

Forget it, Erdogan dreams to be the next Sultan, ruling the whole Middle East. he backs up FSA (Al Qaeda) to topple Assad, he seizes the opportunity as Iran is weak at this point after the protests and may hesitate to send army out of country to kick his ***

I agree. That is why I was surprised Erdoğan still uses FSA. By giving FSA more control of areas, Erdoğan makes it more difficult to reach a deal with Assad since these FSA fighters will never join SAA. Better strategy would have been dropping FSA (they only control Jarablus thanks to us anyway) and use SAA as ground forces together with some Turkish land forces, if need be.

This means that Erdoğan has to go for the Syrian war to end. If a new leader comes to Turkey who is friendly to Assad the Syrian war will be over very quickly with a military pact. Assad going would be a disaster. It would mean Syria would fall apart which means Kurdistan on the Turkish border.

PKK hopeful of Egypt, UAE’s support amid Turkey’s Afrin operation

As Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorists are being eradicated from Syria’s Afrin, messages of support to the terror group came from Egypt and the UAE as the terror group is seeking allies in the region.

After being exposed as possible partners in the dirty plan hatched for the region by the Israel, U.S. alliance, it is being evaluated that PKK’s new allies in the region could be Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt.
Statements leaked to the media revealed that the PKK/PYD is hopeful of receiving support from the UAE and Egypt.

A statement issued by Egypt after Turkey’s Afrin operation backs these claims, as the regime of Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who seized power after a coup in 2013, said the operations “interferes with Syria’s sovereign rights.”

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia in recent months pledging a budget of $1 billion revealed its support of the reconstruction of the PKK-occupied city of Raqqa, which was leveled to the ground by U.S. bombs.

Turkey on Saturday launched Operation Olive Branch to remove PKK/KCK/PYD-YPG and Daesh terror groups from Afrin.

The operation is being carried out under the framework of Turkey’s rights based on international law, UN Security Council decisions, self-defense rights under the UN charter and respect to Syria's territorial integrity, the Turkish General Staff has said.

The military also said that only terrorist targets were being destroyed and "utmost importance" was being given to not harm civilians.

The PYD/PKK is the Syrian offshoot of the PKK terrorist group, which has been designated a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU.

Unfortunately, author of this article do not have complete knowledge about Turkey's history, yet alone it's strategic affairs.

Eygpt is a Saudi puppet and the Arabs don't want Turks in what they regard as an Arab country.

Iran doesn't want Turkey to annex parts of Syria because they've been trying to preserve it all for Assad.
