The Karrar Main Battle Tank, which seems to be based on the latest T-90MS variant

Me thinks this is a license production to be honest. The similarities are way to big and it doesnt seem that much has changed(If not license for the entire tank, but for some key parts). Either way no doubt it will be a good addition to the military forces.

Well done, congrats.

This is an advanced turbojet engine. As a first step in self-sufficiency, it's great. Enough for several types of aircraft.

Also I'm sure this is the tip of the iceberg. There is, minimum, one turbofan engine for combat aircraft in development. I don´t know what level of development, but as ALWAYS with Iran, the unveiling days are used to deception of enemies. Iran always shows only a small fraction of the things they develop.

Maybe one big turbofan for manned aircraft, and one small turbofan for UAV's.

This turbojet is the tip of iceberg. Also I believe it's in mass production time ago. This is not new made, at all.

It is advanced and not advanced at the same time... Advanced because only limited number of advanced nations has the capability and know how to build even this Owj engine... Not advanced because comparing to what Iran is working on to develop at the moment it is a joke...

Those who are into this field of engineering know exactly what it means to build OWJ engine...

Sorena Sattari Iranian VP has announced what Iran is working on at the moment in this field... He said this engine is the work of 30 private-sector high tech companies but another engine is under development... The new engine is 4 times stronger and it is a wise guess to assume it is a turbofan

Defence Minister in interview with IRlB 2 :

--- We made 1:2 of Qaher 313 but lRAF didn't approve the project so Q313 was cancelled last year but this year IRIGC asked for making 1:1 protype of Q313 to test it ( probably they want a cheap light weight fighter for supporting our troops )

--- we asked for Su 30 and Russians will give their answer in near future


---- Fateh submarine is ready but Navy commanders are asking for more tests ...

The same old Fotros, Soheil has posted it but I believe for some reason Ministry of Defense links doesn't show up out side of Iran(or when you use proxy).

The fact of being able to make a jet engine is very impressive indeed!

Turbofan engines are harder to make as you know so it needs more effort,time and resources.But I'm sure that people involved in jet engines and turbofan engines in Iran can do it!

No , it is old f5 engine that was used in Azerakhsh and Saegheh ....
