An UNARMED Iranian ship that was unescorted was towing a drone. And it took several american warships and several hours of standoff before the Iranian ship cut the drone.

The US navy did not open fire, tried to board, or physically stop this unarmed ship that was taking off with their property.

This shows a tremendous amount of respect shown by the US navy to a ship, simply because of its Iranian flag.

Do you think they would have reacted this timidly if any other country or entity had done this?

Another thing to note is that the US has never directly gotten into any sort of armed confrontation with the Iranian navy in the 21st century. Every single time an Iranian boat with a small machine guy shows up and the muricans keep clear.

When the Brits met armed Iraniab soldiers in the persian gulf , they got on their knees and surrendered twice (2004,2007)

Same story with the americans, on their knees and hands on head.

Us navy ships that were directly trying to steal Iranian oil stood down, and left in humiliation when confronted by a couple of IRGC gunboats.

The US knows how weak its navy’s position is in the persian gulf. It bends over backwards to try and not provoke the IrGC navy, even at the cost of utter humiliation.

If anything, this episode to me just displays the confidence of Iranian forces in the PERSIAN GULF. And the absolute fear and timidness of the coward americans who dont go anywhere near a fight unless they have 1000 to advantage in everything
