if some one have experienced of traveling to Gilgit Baltistan region you will came to know many things related MQM , i Was At Nagar Rakaposhi View Point having discussion with the locals regarding Political parties in Gilgit Baltistan they told me really interesting things regarding MQM , those guys told me Boys from Gilgit Baltistan are being used for target killing purpose and for per target killing MQM pays them 25000 rupee and they looks similar to Pathans its difficult to recognize them they are Pathans or Some other Race of Mountain areas of pak ,,, and after this discussion i went for dinner and after dinner there was some wedding ceremony going on in Nagar so we decided to see and have dance with the locals and to take pics, when we reached there my friends jumped into the circle of dancing group and i was on phone with my friend guiding him for Fairy meadows he was At Chillas Town .. suddenly i saw a guy talking on phone in anger and abusing some one on phone with other guy in Karachittie accent he was talking about G3 supply to karachi ( i thought he is talking about G mobiles brand :p) i didnt noticed him much , one of my friend was along me he came close to me and told me he was talking about g3 guns supply to karachi ... locals also told me many MQM sector incharge are from gilgit n nagar side.

Once upon a time only MQM reigned supreme in the terror. Now there are other groups too to get a share in the pie. So thats why there is so much killing in Karachi. MQM does not want to lose control and now there are ANP and PP backed terrorists who are challenging MQM on their own turf.

But there is absolutely no doubt that MQM is the one which started it. It cant act to be victim anymore. It has been in government forever. It has been blackmailing every government to get its undue share and it has been repeating hypocritical statements that it is against feudals while sitting with feudals and enjoying the government. To hell with MQM and its leaders.

See kid, either you are an ignorant or a liar. Karachi had seen her fair share of bloodshed during Ayub Khan's tenure for voting for Fatima Jinnah against Ayub and again later on from Sindh nationalist parties & immigrating pathan/afghans! Everybody wanted a piece of Karachi and the taking was easy as Karachiites were business/service class citizens unfamiliar with crimes. Finally it was the nexus of JUI & Sindhi Nationalist Parties in KU that forced creation of APMSO which led to the formation of MQM.

Everybody thought Karachi was a piece of cake, readily available to any new entrant until MQM started defending it!

No wonder there is an influx of G-3 assault rifles all over Karachi, however invisible they may be. I guess even TTP in Swat and BLA in Baluchistan get their orders from MQM! And damn those MQM wallas spending 25k for target killing when target killers are available for as cheap as 2k-3k within Karachi!!!!No management at all I guess!

By the way, kid, I guess your friends also told you that the unbelievable resistance that was faced by police and CID in Liyari was also by MQM where MQM was using armor piercing rounds with highly sophisticated assault weapons against the agencies. Man these MQM thugs must be well trained commando teams!

You surely do not know the history. MQM was planned during the late 70's and emerged in 81-82. By late 80's they were dominating the Karachi. Killing came to Karachi after the formation of MQM. Before that Karachi was called city of lights.

You re missing the point entirely. I have lived in Karachi in the days when MQM was the terror top dog. It had genuine reasons too to play victim then. It had genuine grievances. But then it gradually became a mafia like party.

Its party with known militant leanings but it does the 'secular' eyewash quite spectacularly. It keeps claiming to carry out a struggle against 'wadera and jagirdar' but sits in their government too. Its values have become deeply hypocritical.

Now at least it cant play victim anymore as it has been government since time immemorial.

With the advent of ANP and PPP to Karachi scene, they realized they cant survive if they cant come down to MQM level of violence, hence there are criminals everywhere, in every party. MQM did the original sin.

There were no ethinic based killings ever before MQM. If you are refferring to Jay Sind, that was formed against Punjabi Abadgars who converted Sind dessert in to an agricultural land, and even they were not ruthless killers like MQM, amnd for your info that was in interior sind only.

You have to understand the difference, cities don't belong to people, people belong to cities. Karachi is not anyones dad's estate, anyone who wants to live here (or for that matter any other part of the country) is free to do so.

GB has a strong hold of PPP which has always been a rival to MQM, the amman comettee was weaponised in todays PPP government when zulfiqar mirza armed them to teeth

and since when did the northern areas became the weapons hub, all the weapons to karachi come from peshawar

also if imran khan can have armed body guards as party workers around him then why cant MQM, and esp in this situation MQM needs to be alert about any threats

well if you move away from karachi, the literacy rate is very low in pakistan, even in a city like lahore, you can expect people to display utter ignorance

this you see is the famous north nazimabad area very much adjacent to the infamous area called 'katti pahari', the two buildings you see on top of the mountain is the check post of the ANP, now you do realise the damage which can be done to the civilised area if NN if they fire rockets from the top?, on the other side of the mountain is the orangi town area

you can even see the check post from miles away

this whole mountainous area us under control of ANP where no urdu speaker can even come close
