Interceptor missile mission a ‘failure’

Fire the missiles on us and get the right source answer
I m proud of drdo

We aint the ones who is warmonger. But yeah try us and U ll surely get to know the efficiency of ur systems.

Main point of concern here isnt if missile interceptor test was a success or failure but point is how our friends from India were doing the chest thumping after the test but same dont have the courtesy to show some sense of resentment for dancing on false news but yeah saying "failure is ladder to success". That is called sportsmanship and that is totally absent here.

"The test involved the launch of the single-stage Ashvin Advanced Defense interceptor missile from a mobile launcher at 11:15am local time and the successful destruction of an incoming nuclear-capable Dhanush ballistic missile at endo-atmospheric altitudes of 20-40 kilometers.

The Dhanush was launched from an Indian Navy vessel in the Bay of Bengal. The Dhanush is a naval variant of the Prithyi III tactical surface-to-surface short-range ballistic missile and has an approximate range of 350 kilometers (217 miles).

“The ‘kill’ effect of the interceptor was ascertained by analyzing data from multiple tracking sources,” a Defense Research Development Organization (DRDO) scientist explained. “The test conducted to validate various parameters of the interceptor in flight mode has been successful,” he added.

Sir Read the Article Its Quoting DRDO Scientist which Head Project Which Also Conclude' the Details of the Test

This Hindu Quoting Day after the test

well this is exactly what i have been saying,
these are just news articles publishing stories. A story about a failure can be as real as the story about success or vice versa so the problem is what one should believe in.Keep that in mind i decide to wait for now.

I think it is not fair to shoot the messenger......... I agree that the OP has an obsession with negative news on India, and he enjoy posting them, but that doesnt change the fact that the report appeared in one of the reputed news papers in India......

The paper is right or wrong is to be debated, not the OP

Sue the news outlet for circulating false news as how blatantly they are issuing such statements and make them apologize for the news the floated. The news..

‘Never took off’

Informed sources, however, said the interceptor missile never took off from the island; so no interception took place at all. “Post-flight analysis is going on. We do not know whether there was problem in detecting the missile, whether radars tracked it and communicated it to the interceptor,” said the sources.

Its your news outlet and that too quite reputed one ,reporting not ours.

In April 2015, a similar mission failed after the interceptor dived into the Bay of Bengal a few seconds after lift off. In that mission, the DRDO planned to conduct the test against an electronic target missile. In April 2014, the warhead in the interceptor failed to explode, although the interception of the incoming “enemy” missile took place at an altitude of 120 km.

@shah1398 Let Me Bust the Bubble of this false Misreporting

Let Me Tell you None of India BMD System Has Capability to Intercept 120Km Above Altitude that reported in this Article

There are 2 types of BMD

India’s BMD shield is a two-tiered defense system with the Prithvi Air Defense (PAD) / Pradyumna Ballistic Missile Interceptor destroying missiles at exo-atmospheric altitudes of 50–80 kilometers (31–50 miles), and the Advanced Air Defense (AAD)/ Ashvin Advanced Defense interceptor missile endo-atmosphere at altitudes of 20-40 kilometers (12-24 miles).

So this Itself Proved the Authenticity Of this article Which Misquoted Facts And False Data to Create News.Except None of the Other Defense Media Reported It

The interceptor never took off to intercept incoming “enemy” missile, say sources
The interceptor missile mission, which took place on May 15, was a failure despite claims of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to the contrary. The interceptor never took off to intercept the incoming “enemy” missile which merely fell into the Bay of Bengal, informed sources said.

An agency report on May 16 said a modified Prithvi missile was launched on May 15 from a naval ship in the Bay of Bengal and it mimicked the trajectory of a missile coming from an enemy country.

The DRDO developed both the Prithvi missile and the interceptor.

Despite considering India the enemy I actually now want DRDO to come with something which actually works. :hitwall:

salaam jammer bhiyya ji :)

why botherred even if its a fail or pass as pakistan already has the best missile tech and there is nothing that can beat there baburs and raad cruise missiles :D

and to get hold in south asia india needs to invade but do you really think indian elite have balls for such an daventure specially when you have that devine combo called NASR+Tactical nukes :azn:

Because Pakistan is far superior than India in terms of space technology. Repeated success of Pakistan's space program is a testament to that. ISRO will never be able to catch up to SUPARCO.

Even NASA...:lol::lol::lol:

I dont know how pakistanis would rect when they would came to know that there are 3 arihant class subs ready

The one you see is used to test equipments, which are later fitted in them.

Source: some insider

I wonder how Indians would react when they'd come to know that Pakistan has deployed sub launched cruise missiles with nuclear warheads since 2012.

Thanks! I know how hard it must've been to swallow your pride and say that. Means a lot.

What a stupid way at that, why not just suppress the original news in the first place?

Bros as per my opinion this is deliberately attempt to hide our achievement to divert world attention from us as modi is visiting usa next month that's y we postpone agni5 last trial launch

lol "doobte ko tinke ka sahara" our friends has tendency of finding 0.1% chances which ease there pain. TBH i wont even argue with them and let them live in fools paradise (suits us)
