Would probably not be economical. I guess the water made it into each and every compartment over the time?

What do you think guys?

Hard to tell just by a visual; but by and large, the hull looks intact as one can tell. I was expecting either the torp tube areas or the fwd loading hatch area to be blown open. But does not look like that. The double-hull feature looks to have some plus points.

They will salvage some parts as spares for existing kilo class and mothball this sub partially for the same reason...
