Arihant is almost definitely made from low magnetic steel. Usage of titanium for the entire hull would be an unnecessary expenditure of time and resources for the ATV project. The Subs that have been titanium hulled have had very narrow operational roles; either very deep diving capability and/or very high speeds.

Arihant needs neither of these capabilities. In any case her hump, and the 83 MW reactor rule her out as a high speed interceptor along the lines of Alfa Class SSNs.

And as for the guy claiming India doesn't have that capability, well, sweet dreams..
