This was the woman who burned a great deal of cash on military excursions into East-Pakistan but needed a begging bowl of American aid to feed the nation..Indians should re-visit their past before raising fingers on Pakistan..

These video's are also a good representation of why hoards of Indian Muslims decided to flock into newly created state of Pakistan...It wasn't patriotism or love for Jinnah..it was pure economics...So next time MQM mobs lament about their great maternal sacrifices..these videos should be shown to them...

Um....hate to spoil your thunder but Indira Gandhi was not going to get power till a good 18 years after the large migration of Indian muslims to Pakistan. Plus why did counter migration of non-Muslims from Pakistan to India happen in just as large numbers if Pakistan was such a land of milk and honey economically and people only think in those terms?

Its worth noting that India was not a homogeneous country w.r.t its problems (both past and present). Most of the Muslim migrants into Pakistan came from the Punjab and other areas that are generally quite well provided for food supply-wise. They often left behind good houses and assets as well....just like those that went in the reverse direction to India.

Pakistan got plenty of economic assistance from the US, a lot of it food aid (and drastically more if you account for it in per capita terms compared to India):

India did not begin to improve until 90's and starving muslims of India are hungry enough today to seek illegal refugee in Pakistan..with MQM being their prime conduit..just visit the slums of Karachi to find hundreds and thousands of Biharis and Bangalis living illegally!

Beside much of the US aid towards Pakistan has been economic and millitary..we were never so starving to need wheat and rice from the US....a lot of american food aid flowed into the country during the Afghan war to support the afghan refugees and that was entirely a different scenario..
