The Russians are not stupid, they are never gonna share technology, good example is Brahmos. They are just repackaging a Russian product with Indian stickers to appeal to the domestic Indian audience into believing India is not importing but having a JV. Smart marketing plan. These Indians are very simple minded, just use the word JV even if it means India injecting money and given the task of sticking labels, they will think it's their plane.
