It is funny to see them comparing their product to the Ipad, for once, in doing so, they acknowledge that Ipad is the benchmark, which all tablet manufacturers seems to get hold of.

Don't take this in the wrong way, living in the USA i know there are people who love Steve Jobs and Apple, and are part of his drooling fan-boy army. Then there are people who absolutely hate Steve Jobs, his personality and Apple.

I am among the latter, but it seems like every tablet manufacturer compares their product with the Ipad? I hope these people know the power of fanboyism, because people who would have been looking for more battery and power etc etc in tablet could have found it, but they themselves chose to get the Ipad instead. That large portion of public that buys Ipad, will continue to buy it even if it is trash. Recent Iphone 4 should tell you the story.


But, anyway,good work by these Indian men in making a gadget and selling it.

How can it be sold to Microsoft..??


Companies which is under loss and has lot of loans are taken over by another company..
Not a company which has advanced tech,Unique design low cost and main thing is it has High demand...

Google bought YouTube. YouTube wasn't making a loss or wasn't outdate in anyway, we all know that .

AMD was the one in loss, took over ATI..........

Adam wants to cut into the same market with a different value proposition and still have a VERY cool image--looks like they've actually done it. You have no idea how difficult the 'sold out' tag is to get. And to get ALL OF THAT out of WORD OF MOUTH ALONE and that too in the US. DUde this is the rise of a new and extreeeemely exciting company. They got everything- product, pricing, marketing & distribution right on first go.

With pixel qi screen,Nvidia tegra2 processor,1GB ram,flash support,android3 os,it beats ipad in almost every criteria..can you tell any other tablet of similar price range that can beat adam in spec?so much for the "cheap knock off"!

A small example...
Micromax is a indian company which has brought some good mobile sets and their latest is Android phone...
It is manufactured in china..
And even Sigmatel and other china companies r also there..
But The Quality the feature the look and the tech Micromax co has cannot be beaten by Sigmatel..
And guys u know wat is the situation of china mobile in india...

Adam has a huge craze in US. I have been talking to couple of my American friends. They have already pre ordered the product and waiting for its delivery. I also know several others who are waiting for another order round to open up. Not bad for a start up. I might order one for myself in the next round.

The reason being simple is that iPad is currently the most successful tablet on the market, even though it's not much more than an enlarged iTouch. The only other comparable tablet, the Galaxy Tab is just like an enlarged Galaxy S phone and is a tad bit too small to compare to ADAM.

ADAM on the other hand is something of a revolution because it's the first tablet with powerful specs, android OS, live dev support, etc at such an affordable price. I myself bought a Galaxy S phone just 'cos I hate iPhone(s) and people who blindly pursue apple products. ADAM Tablet will appeal to those who want a tablet that is NOT apple and offers more functionality for a good price.

I think Marketing has a lot to do with what the pubic prefers to buy, and I dont think the public will continue to buy trash for a very long time. For instance lack of information is one reason people end up buying trash.

The Android platform by itself is just beginning to mature, and it deemed by many that matter as the future.
