BTW - if India had any plans to annex Nepal / Bhutan, it would have done so decades ago. The realpolitik of existence of India, its littoral states, its non-wahabist islamic neighbors' existence is as beneficial to India than a fag-fart of imagination. And let's accept it. Nepal has a fully functioning NATIONHOOD of its own and they are free to make their own decisions by vote of the people and the people who govern it. The CHT neck from Tripura. It Cuts the restive region of CHT, provides Eastern states access to the sea , threatens Cox"s Bazar , stokes insurgency in that region and so much more.

The options are endless but its just that its not worth it. Just like Pak must exist so that the Taliban remain contained and have an ' enemy' to engage so must BD exist .
