India's C-DAC Deploys PARAM Bilim Supercomputer in Kazakhstan - Fifth Deployment on Foreign Soil

Shouldn't you be opposing this ? Socialists had opposed the adoption of computers worldwide historically

first time i am hearing this.

but yes, i oppose "super computing" usage in useless mathematical "modeling" of weather or such other things that cannot be modeled... "super computers" have become a end by themselves.

How do u know it cannot be done ?

How do u know it cannot be done ?

can you give me one example of successful and precise weather prediction??

or other events like the 2011 tsunami, perhaps?? or the 2015 nepal/india earthquake??

. . .
missed some words, which is why i edited that post as below...

Well, the probability of a tsunami can be modelled.. Nothing happens in this world with 100% certainty. There will always be false positives and wrong hypothesis .. But weather is one phenomenon which depends on a huge tonnes of factors.. so currently we cannot model weather but we sure can predict climate patterns on a broad scale.

If say an asteroid is gonna hit the earth and detected on time, current supercomputers can model their trajectory and suggest countermeasures.

the "apophis" asteroid is supposed to fly by earth in 2029 or so and there is no weather in space... so unless some gravitational effect deviates its path, it will keep its course... i don't think a super-computer was needed to discover this.

the asteroid which over-flew russia in 2013, was a sudden arrival.

that would be pointless.

.
implemented using fpga's i suppose.

Yes, It incorporates PARAMNet-3 - a High Speed System Area Network, FPGA based hardware accelerators called Reconfigurable Computing System (RCS), a range of Systems and Applications Software components, and Industrial Design and Engineering of the whole system.

.
Is it surprising?

They wont be on threads which shows India's Achievements.
they will never.,....they will come only on toilet poverty .....malnutrition issues...:pakistan:
