The reason I am against this project because, Muslims are the worst performing of all minorities in India eventhough they form the largest group. 12 billion rupees can be better spent providing necessary skills to Muslims to get out of poverty rather than build a large mosque for publicity.

The one that you call treasure is archaeological artifacts and part of the culture and tradition of the land like Kohinoor and no one will sell their tradition for $$$.
Also please refrain from religious name calling.

Gold gems archaeological artifacts lolzz what one has to do when these cant be used for human welafre and are kept as fake big egoistic just for publicity that too in the name of religion .

your double standard just multiplies with zero the "sympathy" which you are trying to portray for Muslims

That's a really racist remark buddy. Have you ever met Muslims from Gujarat and Maharashtra? They are among the leading communities regularly contributing to society and economy.In fact most of the cotton garment trade in India is through them.

this is serious but it is good.This will polarise Kerala bigtime and i can see a BJP government there in 10 years.

Kerala had been home to mosques, Islam in India and the first Mosque in India was also bulit there if now BJP supporters suddenly felt threatened and polarised then something is wrong with their own thinking

Also India is home to the wealthiest Muslim in the world.....but please also don't forget the fact that there are reports after reports tell that Muslims are worst performers among all communities and our neighbours across the border use this reports to criticize GoI for their 'poor treatment' of Indian Muslims. Our own Muslim leaders and the so called 'secular brigade' harp on how Muslims are treated wrong in this country and here Muslim community wants to build the largest mosque in India.

A lot of these 'Gold gems archaeological artifacts' also exists in your national museums. Why don't you sell those and add that money to your long suffering national exchequer.

Also I don't have to prove anything to you regarding my sympathy for Muslims as I have lived and worked with Muslims and many of my neighbours are Muslims while you keep Hindus at a distance in your country.

As far as some people from across the border goes it's their job to try and find faults with us. We are not perfect and there is a difference in the contribution of different communities. But that's subjective and it's like if all members in a class scored above 90%,the person with the lowest percentage (say 90%) will be the worst performer. Try not to make such remarks. Actually, I believe the GoI should use that argument to Hindus, Muslims,Backward caste and SC/ST with their reservation and everyone else who seeks tax payers money for their development and subsidies etc etc.

a BJP govt in kerala?! Are you on weed? Not even the Hindus vote for the BJP losers. Kerala is the one state that maintains a collective indifference/spite towards the BJP. Ontopic: this is a very good development. A lot of people are going to reap the benefits.

So you are saying we dont have poor Hindus in India and building lavish Mandirs then providing world class security to dhongi baba's is justified? You are comparing apples with oranges. We are repeatedly told by various sources that Muslims in India are poor and deprived and the worst performers of all communities. So its bit of a surprise that this 'deprived' community found enough money to build the largest mosque in India all by themselves. As far as dhongi babas are concerned, not all Hindus support them nor consider the lavish Mandirs they built sacred.

Atleast this project will give jobs, education to people, unlike zillions going to saffron dhongi baba's.

Based on my personal experience only those who can afford it can have this or in other words expect no charity.
