Their defense minister comes to do useless talks about selling weapons without anything substantial like a salesman didn't even get a sitting with Hasina ....and Home minister comes to inaugurate this useless thing. While they shout about immigration from BD back home all day.

As for the topic, India only opens visa centers where there is a demand. So Bdeshis must want to get Indian visas wherever this center is located.

If India is so worried about "illegal" migrants from BD, then why make it so easy for BD'shis to get visas?
Surely they would use this option as a much safer way to enter India and not return?

No other country that claims illegal migrants from country X ever hands out visas as easily as this to residents of country X.

The data backs it as well (exit/entry ratio as compiled in border crossings) which is why India is fine with expanding access for these Bangladeshis to fork over their money to India (esp given they largely cannot afford any other kind of international travel)....and keep them indoctrinated into Indian culture (which has good multiplier benefit across broader trade etc).

This is completely different set of people to the riff raff majority that get the BSF bullet at border as needed or pogroms and NRC process as needed elsewhere. That will continue and expand as needed too. BD is after all a very polarised country that cannot be approached in one blanket way. Cull one set of people as needed, extract money from the other as needed....keep them both dependent and stuck in inferiority complex. Win win for all.

Lack of papers might be proof for you. But unless you can provide documents of them being Bangladeshi citizen(i.e. Bangladeshi passport, NID card, Driving License issued by BRTA, etc), we are not obliged to take them back.
