We share a lot with each other.. Our language, sports taste, cuisines, culture values, moral values like respecting women (theoretically), elders, beating children etc
Point is where we deviate is, our core issues to us. Like religion. As Quaid said "Our heroes are your foe". Indian Pakistani friendship is only possible if India
1) Treats Pakistan as an equal and accepts it's right to exist as a separate nation in peace.
2)Forgoes all attempts to foment internal division and abandons it's dream of breaking up Pakistan to form Akhand Bharat.
3) Gives the Kashmiris a fair plebiscite to choose their own destiny.
4) Accepts that we are never going to ditch China for India.
The Chinese and the Pakistanis have been brothers side by side, through thick and thin and we will not abandon them, nor they us for a fickle India.

The best India can hope for from Pakistan is a normalised, peaceful coexistence.
After the history of the last 70 years, brotherhood is never going to happen.

Eating beef won't hamper the feelings of anyone especially me. In fact as I said I would eat beef with you, though I like mutton/Lamb meat more.
Beef is widely available in Delhi especially in old Delhi and Tibetan market (near the parliament).
Wish to find a Pakistani muslim someday who would readily eat pork thereby rising above religion.
