Actually, India could be more like Australia or Canada if India join the western nations. But India leadership is weak and indecisive. As a result, no countries will trust India and it will again be diplomatically isolated once all the dices have fallen in place.

The chinese agree it or not they are on backfoot in indian Ocean.Its becoming almost impossible for them to match IN here.Chinese Oil import and Chinese export will be under direct threat in case of even limited war situation.Any alternate root will not be viable for the chinese export.Better to keep peace.GOI invested where it matter.A stronger/modern Indian Navy rather than billion dollars infrastructure along Himalayan Peaks.

Your analysis is pretty much wrong.... USN is not intend to neutralize Indian Navy but Plaan.... what ever Japanese, Indian , and US navies are not against each other.... coming to AN islands ... significantly military establishments in those islands are increasing.....

all those japanese navy ,Indian navy and USN is to minimize or neutralize the PLAAN threat in IOR region aswell USN and Japanese navy in SCS..

You just assump that Indian is lovely angel, USN and Japan have no intention to neutralize Indian Navy...but you need to remember this ..there is no permananent friends nor permanent enemies only permanent interest...it will be your nightmare if you find out that China/Japan/USN one day came to neutrilize your Navy.
