Indian Navy Ship sunk by Pak submarine, first time after world war in war history

In 1971 war , INS Vikrant was the reason for for PNS Ghazi's demise, obliteration of Cox's Bazar and Chitagong Harbours and complete blockade of East Pakistan.

INS Vikrant was the sole reason, Pakistani forces in the East could not receive any aid and could not evacuate, and India ending up with 93000 Pakistani POWs.

Carriers are not Achilles heal , they are the golden eagles which helped USA win world war 2 and continue to dominate the present world order.
My point was about the 1965 war ...during WWII ...Japs and Gerries had Carriers too ....remember Bismark ...It sunk with all the German pride and ego onboard ...Remember Yamamoto ...? What Argentinian AF did to HMS Sheffield ...can be done to a carrier as well nowadays ...!

.
Actually that's what Indian Army did during 2002 stand off, after laying mines, they reversed a truck full of soldiers into the minefield....when sub lays mines....remember, SUB....water.....under water...once released, mines float in the water and are not buried or fixed like the ground mines.
I don't know what type of special mines PNS use, but under sea mines are floating with anchors so they are fixed.

something like this..

Bismarck and Yamato were both battleships. Ironically both were doomed by carrier borne air crafts.
Bismarck crippled by torpedo bombers from HMS Ark Royal and Yamoto sunk by American aircraft carrier.

HMS Sheffield was a 4000 tonne Aluminum ship, that was hit by two exocet missiles.

Had it had a steel superstructure it could have survived.

Any ship or submarine can be sunk, provided enough resources are deployed against them. But Aircraft carriers bring an aspect into a naval battle, which no other ship can match.

A naval fleet equipped with aircraft carrier will almost always triumph, when pitted against a fleet without a carrier.

well even if they forget about the fighter squad on indian AC they still need to reach it without bieng detected and shot out of the sky which capability they dont have cause in any war like situation indian AC will be stationed at least 500 Km+ from the nearest pakistani coast and some 550 km from the nearest base and they dont have any surface to ship oror air launched missile that can reach anywhere near to the target or even a figter jet that can diliver there chinese ASM

means mines have guided propellers which could swim at that time :woot::woot:
lol , when u have any tech knowledge , don't talk, go study first.

Pakistan has DSI special mines ....which stuck to its own host.....

PNS Ghazi (previously USS Diablo (SS-479); reporting name: Ghazi) was a Tench-class diesel-electric submarine[2] and the first ever attack submarine of Pakistan Navy (PN), leased from the United States in 1963. She saw action in the 1965 and 1971 wars between India and Pakistan. The submarine could be armed with up to 28 torpedoes and, in later years, was re-fitted in Turkey for mine-laying capability. Starting from being the only submarine in the war theater in 1965, it remained the Pakistan Navy's flagship submarine until she sank near the eastern coast of India during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War en route to the Bay of Bengal under mysterious circumstances.[11] The Indian Navy credits Ghazi's sinking to the destroyer INS Rajput (D141).[12][13][3][4][5] However, Pakistan's official sources state that "the submarine sank due to either an internal explosion or accidental detonation of mines being laid by the submarine off the Vishakapatnam harbour" with neutral sources confirming Rajput still in its port when the submarine sank.[6][14][15][16]
sitting at a distance of 10K km PAK officials predicted what happened with sub. lol DSI based technology of communication and watching Live under sear......

The Ghazi was 600 kilometers off Bombay on 16 November, off Ceylon on 19 November, and entered the Bay of Bengal on 20 November 1971. She started looking for the Vikrant on 23 November off Madras but was not aware that she was 10 days too late and the Vikrant was actually somewhere near the Andaman islands. The Indian Vice Admiral Krishnan sent for Captain Inder Singh, the commanding officer of the Rajput for detailed briefing at about 16:00 on 1 December and told him that a Pakistani submarine had been sighted off Ceylon and was absolutely certain that the submarine would be somewhere around Madras/Vishakapatnam. He made it clear that once Rajput had completed refueling, she must leave the harbor with all navigational aids switched off.[20]

According to Indian claims, at 23:40 on 3 December, taking on board a pilot, Rajput moved through the channel to the exit from Vishakhapatnam.[20][21]

Exactly at midnight, shortly after passing the entrance buoy, starboard lookout reported breaker on the surface of the water right on the nose. Singh, changing the course at full speed across the specified point and ordered to loose two depth charges, which was done. The explosions were "stunning", and the ship suffered a serious concussion. However, visible results of this attack are not given. Rajput for some time surveyed the area dumping bombs, no longer found any contact — either visual or acoustic. A few minutes later the destroyer continued on her way to the coast of East Pakistan.[20][21]

Moreover , under Dark and with no Lights , Egyptian Navy person saw the Ships after an hour of explosion, When eve ship is under operations already in War, it take one hour to get the engine start of the ship ? this is not possible.

Bhai yeh to woh wali baat ho gae . saada kutta kutta te tuwada kutta tomy.
lol, Navy officer is not in the Base.
2nd he don't know how many ships are present in the port
3rd no one can see a ship , if its travelling with No lights which is mandatory in war from distance.
4th in War all ships are always with engines Hot, don't take an hour..

All of the things he said is imaginary ones, doesn't prove to be feasible in reality and make no sense.
