What's new

Indian Navy grows stronger

Isnt thats a russian made then renamed it to indian name?I know it .

Yes!! You got it man!! Arihant was designed and built by Russians... We just gave it ''Made in India'' tag...

And Tejas is just an old wine in new bottle... Actualy its MiG-23 in new paint... Same for Arjun and every thing else...
And you know Tajmahal was also a Kremilin which we secretly imported...

I keep saying this but these stupid Indians don't listen to me...

Well it depends, UK have no aircraft carrier, China in quantity terms is the 2nd biggest in the World.

Even though soon India will purchase new subs and a aircraft carrier, it can be better in 5-6 years time.

Quality or quantity we will catch them within 6-7 years its for sure

It will also depend on the fact that who will be our next defense minister ............ A.K Antony is doing a great job, if he is replaced by someone like Mulayam Singh or else of the same class it will be back on to the same black days in Indian defense industry which costs us heavily till now.:undecided::undecided:

What about Japan?

Japanese navy is too restricted by law to compete Chinese, or Indian navy with SSNs, SSBNs, real aircraft carriers. They will be capable to defend their territory, but not to project their power to other regions and that's what will be the biggest difference to our forces, or the forces of UK, France, Russia and the US.

Relax, no one is going to attack Indian Navy (stronger). Every country have right to defend their lands and seas.

In next 5 - 7 years , we gonna have Hell Powerful Navy with induction of Aircraft carriers and Nuclear submarines , stealth Frigates And Distroyers.

Except the USN, no naval force in the World is blue-water.

UK has currently no carrier in their inventory. France only has one second class carrier with a lot of technical issues.

The Russian navy during the cold war was almost close to be a blue-water navy.

Without the nuclear supercarriers and a large amount of SSBNs and SSNs, your navy is not blue-water.
