而且这也不是米格-29K头一回“抛”下自己的燃料箱了,在2016年的时候,一架米格-29K竟把外载燃料箱“投”入了居民区。既然米格-29K的外载燃料箱如此不靠谱,为何印度海军不将其舍弃呢?印度军方给出的解释是:“搭载了外载燃料箱能够使战机飞得更远”

因为米格-29K是航母的舰载机,采用滑跃起飞的方式,起降平台相对陆地而言会比较小,这也对飞机的要求更高,而足够的油量是很关键的。像美国会采用“弹射器”来增加战机起飞动力,减少油量消耗;另一些没有弹射器的航母国家会采用减少载弹量来增加载油量,平衡飞机重量;印度采用“外载燃料箱”的方式算是很“独树一帜”了,而同样目前仍然采用滑跃起飞方式的中国航母舰载机又是怎么解决这个问题的呢?

不久前,央视首次曝光了中国航母舰载机歼-15在训练时的一个新技能——“伙伴加油”,即同类型飞机间的空中加油。对于航母舰载机来说,在空中等待专业加油机显然不是很方便,而采用同种类的战机担任“加油机”效率大大提升。而这种加油方式对操作水平也很高,因此只有少数国家掌握。

既然印度想要舰载机拥有更多的油量,不妨可以考虑学习中国的“伙伴加油”这一招,这样就可以扔掉“随后会掉下来”的外载燃料箱了。不过“伙伴加油”要求两架飞机在空中能处于相对平衡的位置,这对飞行员是一种考验,以印度飞行员的驾驶能力,能不能掌握也是要打上一个大问号了?(子文)
