Indian govt claims India is 100,000 years old, while humans first settled in India 35,000 years later.

No one, but Allah knows the true story. Everything else in this regard is either an estimate or a bluff.

Well, all these marvelous aircraft, water craft and spacecraft that supposedly wandered about the solar system and The Wonder That Was India 7000 to 15,000 years ago without any other culture nearby or afar knowing about these, and not a single construction manual existing now, not a single specimen existing now, surely is a bluff as you said. Too much internalization of forefathers' tall tales.

Can you describe in words what you want to point out ? :)

Salaam

You assume they are claiming the Indian civilization was started by humans a 100k years ago.

Maybe they are claiming that the Indian civilization is a direct continuation of a langur/Monkey civilization that existed here before human arrival?

That is the route of human from Africa and there is coastline route, mainland route, and maritime route (Like Austronesian (Indonesia/Philippine/Malaysian). We can see DNA similarities as well between regions and countries so we will see the migration route more precisely since the map is coming from DNA analyst

I dont know for Indian, but for Austronesian like Indonesian, the oldest remain of Austronesian is just found recently with age around 7000 years old and pretty much match with previous prediction of Austronesian migration from Taiwan

They must have been designed to self destruct at some point in time.

Jokes apart, there are no supernatural claims in the original article. One is free to dispute whether Indians can lay claim to all those achievements, but there is no mythology at work here.

Secondly the link is to the wayback machine (an archive), and the date is 6th Dec 2007. The Sanghis were not in power then so could not have created that content. This is not to say that they are not capable or willing, but the OP must lay down facts clearly.

There are many random such ashrams / akharas whose founders and babas claim all sorts of ridiculous things. To link it with the government website (which in this case itself is old) is not fair. I do have an issue with religious practices creeping into government functions and I condemn them. The classic case of lemon being crushed under Rafale's nose wheel was a shameful instance - supersition literally under the nose of high-tech.

Lastly, I find religion itself far fetched. Morality, ethics, logic etc are the natural outcome of human evolution and interaction. They would have found their way into our lives regardless of religion. We may use fear of god to nurture such values amongst others but that is a different thing.

All dinosaurs were Hindu.

Indian logic: Meteors were invented by Muslim Invadarzz to slay muh prehistoric punditz. #sanctionpakistan

I mean if it was the other way around I'd clarify, because one doesn't expect this behaviour from non-Sanghis. But this is not the case and I don't want to shit on the Indian government more than necessary.

She's a beauty and so shy. But when I take her out for a cup of tea I wouldn't be able to say her name.

LOL.

Well, there is no religious mythology but there certainly is cultural mythology. Things like supposed Indian origin of the science of navigation and medicine and advances in astronomy and non-acknowledgement that 5000 years ago there were other advanced civilizations in the world other than the IVC. And it is no good that a lot of the text is about religious places and such. And there is a subtlety there : the Aryans are referred to as "Settlers" and the "Persians" are referred to as "Invaders".

I generally agree with you which is why I keep posting that I find Nature to be undeniably supreme in front of any person, be that person believing in God or not. Though I will also say that Islam is a superior system compared to others because it came about as a progressive and simplifying socio-economic and political revolution which doesn't even have a priest system and is certainly not the mullah-led all-day-prayer-and-dress-code-bound system that it has become in some parts of the world especially India sadly in the last twenty years. Please read through this thread of mine whose OP is an article by Pakistani journalist Nadeem Paracha and is about Socialist and Communist activism among Muslims since the early 1900s.

Those who deny that Nature is supreme should be put into a spacecraft and it be sent to dive into a star with nothing to protect it except that person's fervent prayers.

I agree. That has certainly been at play, regardless of which government. Life should be lived based on evidence, or at the most, reasonable conjecture. If not, one must allow everyone else also to make fantastical claims and not persecute them.

If they can have nukes and fighter jets in 3000 BC ,then we can expect this from the indians. Ofcourse they started earlier than all others on this planet so thats why they were able to made nukes and fighter jets in 3000 BC while the rest of the lazy dumb world made them in the 20th century.
