Indian forces kidnap four Kashmiri from Neelum Valley

Ya, if you understand, that is what is filed by RR in the FIR. If they wanted to frame them, they could have easily added a box of grenades & multiple AK-47's. It is Indian army officers speculating what they were doing with a 12-bore shotgun . Maybe you understand what I said about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Post the source , then . Since the one being discussed here , doesn't even remotely hint at that . On the other hand , these are police sources claiming otherwise , not the army which strictly maintains the ' guides for the terrorists ' claim .

As the controversy over 30 July Machil encounter, where army claimed that it killed four militants who were crossing to Indian side of Kashmir territory, brews, Kashmir Dispatch obtained the pictures of four slain men. A leading Pakistan daily, The Express Tribune, on August 4, had claimed that the slain quartet who belonged to Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK) were kidnapped by Indian army before being killed in Machil forests in northern part of Kashmir valley.A top police official, wishing anonymity, told Kashmir Dispatch,” Yes, it looks like fake. They (army) seem to have probably mistaken hunters for militants.”“Local residents, who helped bury the bodies after they were handed over to local police through a special police officer attached to the army, said at least two of the men were wearing rubber flip-flops-again, unusual gear for men who had infiltrated mountain passes leading through the rugged Neelam valley,” the Firsptpost reported, while quoting persons, who buried those slain “militants” killed by Army on 30 July in Machil.Other police sources in Kashmir are raising doubts about the encounter.Raising fingers, it reported, “You would expect terrorists to carry weapons like the AK-56″, a senior Jammu and Kashmir-based army officer said, “but I can’t understand what they’d be doing with a 12-bore gun, which is typically used for hunting small prey”.

Post the source , then .

No problem.

Even as fresh skirmishes rage along the northern reaches of the Line of Control, new details are emerging on the controversial killing of four Pakistani men on the Line of Control, an incident which is believed to have set off a spiral of clashes culminating in Monday’s lethal ambush of troops near Chakan-da-Bagh in Poonch. Pakistan has alleged that the four men were kidnapped by Indian troops operating across the Line of Control.

Police documentation exclusively obtained by Firstpost suggests that Zafran Ghulam Sarwar, Shah Zaman, Muhammad Faisal and Wajid Akbar may have been killed near Katwar Post, a forward position along the Line of Control in the Macchel sector, along the Neelam river, late on the night of 29 July.

Firstpost had broken news, on Tuesday, about concerns that the alleged killings and skirmishes which followed it may have triggered off a cycle leading to the killings of five Indian troops in Poonch-sparking off the worst India-Pakistan crisis in months.

In a First Information Report filed on 30 July, Indian troops said they had killed four unidentified Pakistani intruders. The FIR records the army’s statement that it recovered a AK-56 assault rifle, three pistols and a 12-bore shotgun from the group.

“You would expect terrorists to carry weapons like the AK-56″, a senior Jammu and Kashmir-based army officer said, “but I can’t understand what they’d be doing with a 12-bore gun, which is typically used for hunting small prey”.

He also noted it was unusual for an infiltrating group of four terrorists to possess only one assault rifle, and no grenades or communication equipment.

Local residents, who helped bury the bodies after they were handed over to local police through a special police officer attached to the army, said at least two of the men were wearing rubber flip-flops-again, unusual gear for men who had infiltrated mountain passes leading through the rugged Neelam valley.

The FIR was signed on behalf of the 56 Rashtriya Rifles by its adjutant. The Rashtriya Rifles, drawn from various army formations, is generally deployed on counter-insurgency duties inside Jammu and Kashmir. However, the 56 Rashtriya Rifles operates up to the fencing running along the Line of Control.

It remains unclear, though, if the four men were, as Pakistan claims, innocent local residents who strayed close to the Line of Control while collecting herbs. Local residents say the men could also have been out poaching musk-deer, a common-if illegal activity. Intelligence officials based in Jammu and Kashmir had earlier told Firstpost that there was reason to believe the four men had been kidnapped in a cross-border operation, targettng individuals helping cross-border infiltrators.

Exclusive: Details of LoC killings that came before Poonch ambush - Firstpost

Off topic . This is the third time in a row now . I will not comment further .

@Areesh
These kids are hell bent on proving your last day's post again and again  What should one say ?

The Jr.TT was well responding to a rant about ' breaking his country up ' and ' getting Pakistan to a point of no return ' , its not considered boasting by any means unless of course one is unaware of the concept of ' non conventional warfare ' . :D

Well I have debated with a lot of them. And the result is always the same. They always come up with same arguments with typical being victim or being superior mentality at the back ground. Just accept that yes we are zalim and you mazloom and they would be happy. You might earn at least 15 thanks for this acceptance. ;)

I doubt you read the Article that secur posted ...becuase i read it before he even posted it here.... selective reading does not help anyone...

I have read the article completely. And you have done nothing to refute it.

Even if true , it makes no sense to kill people who end up stranded or lost on the other side of LOC , there are mechanisms in place for their safe return and I cant remember the last time , when the Pakistan Army killed a stranded Kashmiri from the other side or an Indian on the International border . Why this trigger happiness ?

They were simply at a wrong place at the wrong time. IA has been alert on the LoC against infiltration because of the sudden spike recently. Most troops would be trigger happy on that stretch. Didn't help that these men were armed, even if on hiindsight, not enough firepower to be militants. Hunting at night is certainly not safe around one of the most militarised boundary in the world.

There are times when IA have allowed safe passage to people who accidentally cross teh border or who have end up starnded on our side.

So if this incident has been treated differently then there is a solid reason behind this action.

This event predates the latest killing of Indian soldiers. This killing will also be responded to. No need for Modi or anyone else. It has always been responded to & it will be this time too.

When Gori attacked India Prithviraj Chauhan responded in similar manner. And Chauhan pardoned him every time and result is well known. The same mistake we are making again by not giving firm reply to these descendent of Gori.

well where is americans and UN here indian army and indian govt is terrorist helping funding terrorist all over the world

It is govt of Pakistan's fault, it is GoP who is so selfish corrupt & sold out that they had never raise the issue of indian terrorism. How is it that indian terrorists are holding Kashmir on gunpoint against the will of Kashmiri people for 6+decades & still no one try to solve it.

Why blame when your own polititions are selfish & work for their own selves.

You have got to hand it to the Indian media....they do a bang up job of being the Indian intelligence arm as well as MO Dte of IA.

Now they are saying that Musa Company of SSG did this thing!

Just so you know, Musa Company does seaborne ops...and it doesn't operate in Kashmir or anywhere near that place. And as if they came with a banner saying 'Musa Company'!

What next, will they disclose some names of the operators or maybe even the ranks? The exact weapons ised.
