Yes! The news finally comes true. The Indian Army Chief General Vijay Kumar Singh is entering in Bangladesh on Sunday June 19 and he will oversee their military interests. The cadets will salute his command in passing out parade at Fauzdarhat Military Academy, Chittagong.

Though from the government side it is told that the Indian COAS will be honored by Bangladesh Army as the Indian Army contributed in our liberation war in 1971 and VK Sing is the only alive officer of those contributors. We, the liberation warriors should take it easy and continue the same friendlier feeling as was in the battle field. But it`s hard for me to forget the betrayal that I witnessed their open conspiracy against Bangladesh Arm forces and Mukti bahinee where they ignited the liberation warriors in so many ways in a goal of establishing absolute Indian control on war as the stage of invading Bangladesh. The world experienced Bangladesh victory with ending session of the liberation war and the Indian`s friendlier magic on 16 December 1971.

However, here is no reason to believe it is a friendlier visit only and Bangladesh army is saluting his command in Bangladesh sacrificing their highest patriotic morality. It is a strategic move of Indian chief whatever secretly arranged earlier by the heads of both governments. Bangladeshi Prime Minister acts seller in this perspective as she lost the moral courage to discuss open on her deals with India and involve the opposition parties in the parliament to support her. She don`t do it and never care to do that.

\tory of war. They stepped in turning the Victory event of Bangladesh into Indian victory over Pakistan with the strategy to annex Bangladesh in time.[/COLOR]

. . . . .
His real name is Tiki Tam Tam?

haha..someone can write a research paper on that too.

tiki stands for RAW.. the first Tam signifies Indian Army and the second one is a hidden symbol for Government of India..voila!!! we have yet another conspiracy theory...........

. . .
Bangladesh national forces should call for strike to protest this coward move by Awami Ghaddar league. CTG can wait. First we need to protect our national integrity then worry about election.

Those cadets should wear black band as sigh of protest.
Better still come wearing lungi, VK Singh will run from there. :)

.
MBI, dont worry. Nothing would happen. Mr Singh will probably salute a few young boys, eat fish and go back to India. The sky wont fall.

Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) observed Black Day on 16 June (on this day in 1975 the BKSAL govt banned all newspapers except for four, which served them). The speakers were imbued with the flame and fervour of patriotism. Please read the details in the following report:

Daily Amardesh -????, ???????? ?? ??? ????, ?? ???? ????, ?? ??? ???? ?????

Just quoting a part of Mahmudur Rahman's speech from the above report: "...This is a fascist govt...They don't believe in independence....The BDR was destroyed during this regime, 57 brilliant army officers were killed, now they are conspiring to destroy the army. By threatening the independence of the country, they are bringing the Indian army chief to receive salute from young army cadets in Bhatiary (military academy, Chittagong). The govt wants to handover the independence and sovereignty of the country to India. They are conceding corridor to India. They are conceding the sea ports. They want to make Bangladesh an extended part of India. This govt does not believe in the independence of Bangladesh. They are an anti-state force. If the present state continues, then the piece of territory would be there, but not independence and sovereignty. There would be people, but not the nation. If we remain quiet and inactive, then we would not be able to safeguard our independence...."

Indian Army chief to review BMA parade

Staff Correspondent

Indian army chief General Vijay Kumar Singh has been invited to review and take salute at the passing out parade of the Bangladesh Military Academy on June 22, an ISPR press release said on Thursday.

It said that reports published in a section of newspapers involved the question of pride, morality and confidence of Bangladesh Army and independence and sovereignty of the country.

Inter Service Public Relations department provided a statement of Bangladesh Army Headquarters in the regard.

The AHQ statement recalled that former Bangladesh Army chief the late General Muhammad Mustafizur Rahman was invited to review and take the salute at the passing out parade of the Indian Military Academy at Dehradun in 1998.

Similarly, Nepalese Army chief Chhatra Man Singh reviewed and took the salute at Indian Military Academy passing out parade in 2009 and the Indian Navy chief reviewed the passing out parade of Sri Lankan Naval and Maritime Academy in 2010, it said.

It mentioned that in Bangladesh’s liberation war in 1971, General Vijay Kumar Singh had participated as a young officer of the allied force. Of the Indian Army officers who had fought for Bangladesh’s independence, General Singh is the only serving officer, the statement said.

The AHQ hopes that the participation of the Indian Army chief in the parade would help infuse the spirit of the liberation war in the young Bangladeshi officers.

The statement termed the invitation to the Indian Army chief as reciprocal to the Indian gesture of inviting General Mustafiz.

This is not a weakness but would rather strengthen the diplomatic relations between the two neighbouring countries, the statement said.

General Vijay Kumar Singh is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on June 19 on a five-day tour.

The ISPR statement, however, fails to mention the anger and suspicions still felt over the Pilkhana massacre and the 7 point agreement of 1971.
