But Pakistan has deliberately moved in a completely different direction and the Hindu history and culture has been successfully erased. This is true also for many parts of India. Accept this hard reality. Islam is a conquering faith. I have largely been speaking about Indian Muslims in specific, and subcontinental Muslims in general.

I do recognize our Muslims are more Hindu than Pakistani Muslims, and Bangladeshi Muslims probably in between the two. Have mentioned the same in an early post.

It is the presence of practicing Hindus that tempers Indian Muslims. That demographic ratio is a delicate balance. And my reference to critical mass has actually been expounded in a piece of research by a Dr. Peter Hammond, Professor at the University of Warwick, in his seminal work titled Slavery, Terrorism and Islam.

If you see from his findings, we are already at a very delicate stage.
